‼️MANILA, Philippines — Content creators,‼️ listen up! Starting August 31, 2025, Facebook is shaking up its monetization system with the launch of the Content Monetization Program (CMP) — a move that’s got creators buzzing online.

According to multiple reports and community posts, CMP will replace Facebook’s existing monetization programs like Performance Bonuses and Ads on Reels, streamlining everything into one creator-friendly system.

What has netizens and creators hyped? 👇

✅ Lower threshold – Rumors suggest monetization may be easier to unlock (possibly dropping to just 5,000 followers 👀).
✅ Bye-bye fact-checkers – Meta announced it’s retiring its controversial fact-checking system, to be replaced by community-driven moderation.
