𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗲𝘀: 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀' 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲!

BAASHS came together for a heart-warming celebration honoring our dedicated educators for World Teachers' Day today. The activity kicked off right after the flag-raising ceremony with a touching short program and tribute led by our amazing SSLG officers. In the afternoon, the school pride continued as we celebrated our very own Ma'am Jasmin L. Bunque, municipal nominee for Outstanding Teacher.

​To top it all off, the faculty and staff headed over to the barangay sports complex for a wonderful party prepared by the dedicated barangay officials of Panguiranan, headed by Capt. Judy A. Nepomuceno. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to Capt. Nepomuceno, the barangay officials, and all of our generous donors for providing wonderful giveaways that put huge smiles on our teachers' faces. Today's activity truly made teachers feel extra special, and we couldn't be more thankful for their unwavering passion, patience, and dedication in shaping the minds of the future. 📚💙

The Briccio A. Aninang Sr. High School community proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of its campus journalists at the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2026, held from September 12–14, 2026, at Osmeña Colleges Inc., City of Masbate.

Jayson A. Valencia secured 4th Place in Column Writing (Filipino), coached by Sir Albin D. Garcia (SPA-English), while Bea Grace S. Artocillo captured 5th Place in News Writing (English), guided by Sir Mark C. Arcenal (SPA-Filipino).

The school also extends high commendations to Charine A. Bito-on and Xia Atipongan for representing the institution in Feature Writing (English and Filipino respectively), under the mentorship of their coach, Ma'am Jovachon A. Alcagno.

This success is built upon the steadfast leadership and administrative backing of School Principal III Ma'am Dominica G. Villaruel and School Principal I / District Campus Journalism Coordinator Sir Mark L. Delos Reyes.

Heartfelt gratitude goes out to the rest of the teachers and the entire school community whose continuous support empowers every student writer to keep soaring high.

Alinsunod sa bagong patakaran ng pamahalaan (DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026), mas mabigat na parusa—kabilang ang suspension, non-readmission, at permanent exclusion—ang ipapataw sa mga mapatutunayang lumalabag sa mga alituntuning ito.

Laging tandaan ang paalala ni Education Secretary Sonny Angara: "Kung ang isang estudyante ay gagamit ng dahas, mananakit, magdadala ng patalim o baril, gagawa ng bomb threat jokes o pranks, o patuloy na mambubully ng kaklase, ipatutupad natin ang pinakamabigat na parusa."

​Student journalists from Briccio A. Aninang Sr. High School (BAASHS) made a dominant showing at the District Schools Press Conference on August 27, 2026, held at Balud Central School, clinching eight first-place titles and a third-place finish.

​Representing the official school publication, "The Estuary," under the guidance of school paper advisers Albin D. Garcia (English) and Mark C. Arcenal (Filipino), the winning delegates in their respective categories include:

​Editorial Writing (Filipino): Prince TJ A. Valencia (1st Place)
​Column Writing (English): Jose Frobeni D. Nepomuceno (1st Place)

​Feature Writing (English): Charine A. Bito-on (1st Place)

​The delegation was accompanied and supported by the ma'am Dominica G. Villaruel, School Principal III, along with Administrative Aide Roger A. Sese Jr.

​The campus writers were mentored by publication coaches Shericka Anne S. Villamor (Sports Writing), Mark C. Arcenal (News Writing), Albin D. Garcia (Editorial and Column Writing), and Jovachon A. Alcagno (Feature Writing).

​Following their standout performance, all nine qualifiers would advance to represent BAASHS at the Division Schools Press Conference, scheduled for September 12–14, 2026, at Osmeña Colleges.
