Mas napalapit na sa mga residente ng Burias Island ang mga serbisyo ng DSWD matapos pormal na buksan ang CIS-AICS Satellite Office sa bayan ng Claveria nitong Hunyo 2.

Ang tanggapan, na bunga ng inisyatiba ni Masbate 1st District Rep. Antonio T. Kho, ay magbibigay ng mas mabilis at mas madaling access sa iba't ibang uri ng ayuda at serbisyong panlipunan para sa mahigit 85,000 residente ng Claveria at San Pascual.

MAKINABANG SA CHED TULONG DUNONG PROGRAM

May pagkakataon na namang makatanggap ng pinansyal na tulong ang mga college students sa Masbate City matapos buksan ng lokal na pamahalaan ang aplikasyon para sa CHED Dunong Tulong Program.

Limitado sa 290 slots ang programa at ipatutupad ang sistemang “first-come, first-served” para sa mga kwalipikadong aplikante.

Ayon sa isang post ni Konsehal Allan "Ligong" Rosero, nag-turn over siya ng ₱150,000 financial assistance para sa delegasyon ng DepEd Masbate City Division bilang suporta ng lokal na pamahalaan sa ilalim ng administrasyon ni Mayor Ara T. Kho.

BAGAT DAGAT FESTIVAL 2022: A LOOK BACK AT THE CELEBRATION, UNITY, AND MASBATEÑO SPIRIT

Throwback to the vibrant celebration of the Bagat Dagat Festival 2022 at the beautiful Masbate Lagoon in Matayum, Cataingan — where former Governor and now Masbate 1st District Representative Antonio T. Kho warmly interacted with locals and visitors, taking photos and personally joining the festive atmosphere around the lagoon.

Also seen in the video are Wilton "Tonton" Kho, Vice Governor Fernando Talisic local officials from the 3rd District, and members of the local media community, all coming together in celebration of Masbate’s rich culture and tourism.

And now, the excitement returns as the BAGAT DAGAT FESTIVAL 2026 is set to happen on June 22–24, 2026 at Masbate Lagoon, Matayum, Cataingan, Masbate — proudly brought by the Provincial Government of Masbate in collaboration with the Cataingan LGU.
