Severe tropical storm caused widespread destruction to infrastructure and the agriculture sector across Masbate on Friday, September 26, the Masbate Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) confirmed.

According to the PDRRMO, all 20 municipalities, including Masbate City, sustained damage.

As of this posting, the province remains without electricity, and communication lines are still down.

Storms may come but Your everlasting love will always prevail. Protect each and everyone of us, our family and loved ones, keep us away from all possible danger that this phenomenon may bring. We believe and acknowledge Your power, You are far more greater than all calamities. We, together as one; in Your most Holy Name declares safety and deliverance from all such. This is all our prayer, In Jesus' Mighty Name we pray, Amen!

Prayer is our strength and assurance. Let us pray as one country begging God to keep us safe, to protect us from calamities and to deliver us from sufferings.
