We had a lit experience last weekend.
We traveled to Glan, Sarangani Province. Took us more or less 4 hours driving to reach the destination.
To go to Glan, Sarangani Province, you need 3 sets of QR codes. One for Malungon, one for Gensan and one for Glan. You also need a booking confirmation and each driver must have a copy.
We stayed at The North Shore, a private resort of Mr Duy Lautengco. The rate is Php 12,000 per night and you are allowed to bring up to 30 pax.
It has a 2-storey rest house. The ground floor has a kitchen, bathroom/toilet and a mess hall. The 2nd floor has a bathroom, beds and terrace. Almost entire second floor is a bedroom. It can handle approximately 15 pax. If you are more than 15, then you need to provide you own bed and beddings.
It has a camping ground that has a roof. Making you safe in case of heavy rainfall. There is a grilling area and a cottage near the shore.
If you want to chill by the shore at night, you are allowed to make a bonfire. There are lights bright enough too.
The kitchen has a refrigerator, a gas stove and a water dispenser. Kitchen utensils are very limited, so bring your own.
There is a videoke machine in the mess hall in case you want to sing while chilling.
Towels, soap and shampoo ang provided but limited.
If you need help to buy stuff, the caretaker is very much willing to help.
The beach in front of the resort is quite challenging but there is a nice swimming spot nearby. You need to walk a little. Don't worry, it's not far.
It has calm waters, kid friendly. Although our kids were really looking for corals in shallow waters, there's none.
Value for money is definitely YES!
Overall experiece: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
