Davao Eagles' decisive 1-0 goal victor came from a stunning, soaring header past the gritting Visayan pride.

DOrSU and UP-Mindanao players formed the core of the Region XI squad, with 15 athletes from DOrSU and 3 from UP-Mindanao contributing to the team's podium finish.

โ€ŽChallenging FTEDโ€™s dominance were the spirited teams of Cateel Extension Campus (CEC), who earned first runner-up title; the Faculty of Criminal Justice Education (FCJE), who claimed second runner-up; and Banaybanay Extension Campus (BEC) and San Isidro Extension Campus (SIEC), who placed third and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Pens bled brilliance and voices commanded the stage as the Literary Arts competition of Siglakas 2025 crowned this yearโ€™s finest wordsmiths last April 25 at the university's graduate school function hall.

Rising above fierce competition among various faculties and extension campuses, the Faculty of Computing Engineering and Technology (FaCET), the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Communication (FHuSoCom), the Faculty of Teacher Education (FTED), and Cateel Extension Campus (CEC) emerged as champions, showcasing exceptional mastery over both the written and spoken word.

The battle for verbal mastery saw FaCET and FTED asserting their dominance across multiple categories, with FaCET clinching gold in Storytelling and Extemporaneous Speaking, and FTED seizing gold in Pagkukuwento and Dagliang Talumpati.

Meanwhile, the realm of the written word was conquered by FHuSoCom and CEC, unveiling their skillful prowess in crafting compelling written works, clinching gold in Essay Writing, and Pagsulat ng Sanaysay, respectively.

Furthermore, the Literary Arts competitions stood as a clear testament to the rising caliber of talent within the university. With voices that resonated and writings that inspired, participants upheld the spirit of Siglakas 2025, proving that in the pursuit of excellence, creativity and expression continue to lead the way.
