Kitty, along with her mother Honeylet Avanceña, is currently in The Hague, Netherlands, to show support following the former president’s arrest by the International Criminal Court (ICC) on March 11, 2025.

STARLINK KITS, NADAWAT SA COMELEC DAVAO DE ORO

Ang Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Davao de Oro, opisyal nga midawat sa 38 ka mga Starlink satellite transmission kits ug laing 34 ka mga solar panel sets, adlaw'ng Lunes, Abril 7, 2025.

Ang maong mga kahimanan, gidala ngadto sa Office of the Provincial Election Supervisor sa COMELEC Building, Provincial Capitol Complex, Cabidianan, Nabunturan.

Matud sa COMELEC Davao de Oro, mga nadawat nga Starlink kits, gitagana alang sa mga mosunod:

• Laak – 14 units
• Maragusan – 7 units
• Maco – 6 units
• Monkayo – 3 units
• Montevista – 2 units
• Mawab – 1 unit
• Nabunturan – 1 unit

Ang mga gamit nga paresan sa solar panels, mao ang paagi aron maka-access sa high speed nga internet sa mga hilit nga lugar alang sa mas paspas ug masaligan nga pagpasa og mga datus sa eleksiyon.

Several Starlink satellite devices and solar panels, previously stored in a private residence in Barangay Buhangin, Davao City, were transported on Sunday morning, April 6, 2025, with assistance from the Davao City Police Office's Traffic Enforcement Unit.

The equipment was loaded onto a wing van for relocation. While the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has yet to disclose the exact destination, personnel from the Davao del Norte Police Office are expected to provide additional security during the transfer.

COMELEC clarified that the devices were temporarily housed at a designated staging hub ahead of their scheduled deployment to Voting and Canvassing Centers across the Davao Region for the upcoming May 12 elections. The commission emphasized that the Starlink equipment is solely intended for transmitting election results and is not linked to vote counting or election software. No irregularities were found.

ALLEGED COMELEC PARAPHERNALIA DISCOVERED IN BUHANGIN, NOW UNDER VERIFICATION

A Barangay Administrator from Rosalina 3, Davao City received a tip on Friday, April 4, 2025 from a concerned citizen regarding alleged Comelec materials stored at a residence in Purok Santo Niño, Dumanlas, Buhangin.

The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) responded and conducted an inspection, uncovering boxes reportedly containing solar panels and Wi-Fi transmission equipment—believed to be from Comelec Manila and intended for distribution in the Davao Region.

The homeowner claimed the items were stored temporarily at the request of a relative involved in the project.

Authorities are currently verifying the legitimacy and intended use of the equipment.
