A new academic year means a new chapter for the Student Association on Food Education (SAFE)! 🍽️❤️✨

SAFE successfully conducted its General Assembly 2026, bringing together students from Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education Major in Food and Service Management (BTVTED-FSM) and Hotel and Restaurant Services (HRS) for a day of leadership, organizational orientation, and community building.

The event featured the Oathtaking Ceremony of the SAFE Officers, presentation of organizational plans and activities, membership orientation, discussion of officers’ duties and responsibilities, SAFE development initiatives, and an engaging Open Forum where members were given the opportunity to raise questions and share their voices.

More than an orientation, this gathering marked the beginning of a shared commitment to serve, participate, lead, and grow together.

This year, we don't just move forward—we move forward together. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

We are inviting everyone to our 𝙎𝘼𝙁𝙀 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙮 this coming 𝙎𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙙𝙖𝙮, 𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 29, 2026, at the 𝙋𝙆𝙈 𝘾𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙩.

The General Assembly aims to orient and familiarize all SAFE members with the organization—including our Constitution and By-Laws, organizational structure, members’ rights and responsibilities, policies, upcoming events and activities, and other important matters that every member needs to know.

All SAFE members are expected to attend. Your presence and participation are important as we begin another meaningful year together as one organization.

𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐏𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 — 𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The PKM Student Association on Food Education proudly presents our new 𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐒𝐔 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫 — the first equipment officially procured by the association for the month of August. As our first project and facility acquisition this month, it aims to provide a reliable, clean, and easily accessible supply of hot and cold water for all students, faculty, and staff of Pambayang Kolehiyo ng Mauban.

The turnover of this equipment reflects SAFE’s ongoing commitment to improving campus facilities and supporting a more conducive and comfortable learning environment. This marks just the beginning of our initiatives for this month, standing as a testament to our dedication to serving and uplifting our organization and institution.❤️

SHORTENED CLASS SCHEDULE

Please be informed that classes on August 26, 2026 will follow a shortened schedule starting at 1:00 PM.

This adjustment is made to accommodate the rescheduled Preliminary Examination, which was originally scheduled for August 17, 2026, but was subsequently cancelled.

ORIGINAL AND ADJUSTED SCHEDULE
Original Schedule → Adjusted Schedule
7:30–10:30 AM → 1:00–2:30 PM
10:30 AM–1:30 PM → 2:30–4:00 PM
1:30–4:30 PM → 4:00–5:30 PM

CLASS TIME ADJUSTMENT
3-hour classes → 1 hour and 30 minutes
4-hour classes → 2 hours
2-hour classes → 1 hour
Classes scheduled at 5:30 PM onwards will remain unchanged.

All students and faculty members are advised to be guided accordingly.

𝑺𝑨𝑭𝑬 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝑱𝒐𝒊𝒏 2026 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒑 𝑨𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒆⛺️✨

The Student Association on Food Education (SAFE) participated in the 2026 Camp Aspire: Youth Leadership, Values Formation, and Team Building Camp, a 2-day, 1-night youth development activity held at the MSCES Oval from August 21–22, 2026.

Representing SAFE were Mr. Justine F. Cabriga, Vice President for Internal Affairs, and Mr. Elwin S. Baraquil, Local Youth Development Council Representative, together with student leaders from various schools and organizations.

Anchored on the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 theme, “Different Context, Common Aspiration,” the camp brought together young leaders from different backgrounds, schools, and organizations, united by one common mission: to Learn, to Serve, and to Lead.

Through leadership activities, values formation, and team-building exercises, the participants strengthened not only their individual leadership capacities but also their commitment to working together for the youth and the community.

SAFE continues to support opportunities that empower young people to become responsible, collaborative, and purpose-driven leaders. 🤍

𝟭𝟵 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Student Association on Food Education (SAFE) actively participated in the Youth Counterpart Election, sending 19 representatives as official voters during the election held earlier, August 14, 2026 at the Mauban Gymnasium, as part of the opening of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026.

This participation demonstrates SAFE’s commitment to youth engagement and its active involvement in Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) activities as a registered student organization in the Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP) under the National Youth Commission (NYC). It also reflects the organization’s compliance with SAFE Resolution No. 002, Series of 2026, entitled “Mandating the Organization’s Participation and Assistance in the Implementation of Local Youth Development Council Programs,” adopted on January 28, 2026.

Through the active participation of its members, SAFE continues to uphold its commitment to meaningful youth participation, collaboration, and support for LYDC programs and initiatives. ✊️
