LOOK || The 27th Infantry (ACTION) Battalion gathered peace advocates from the Business and Labor Sectors, key pillars in preventing the resurgence of CTG activities within our Area of Operations for a ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐บ. The event was attended by LTC ELIEZER M BEJARIN INF (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer of this unit together with CPT PHILLIP K MALOGDOS (INF) PA, Bn Operations Officer, Bravo Company personnel led by 1LT CHRYSTAL CANCILLAR (INF) PA, Acting Company Commander, and Alpha Company, 1105RRBn personnel led by 1LT ARTHUR ABERGAS (RES) PA at Claud Maru Resort, Sitio Marahan, Barangay Marilog Proper, Marilog District, Davao City.
This convergence brought together Brgy. Chairpersons, managers, security officers, and representatives from construction firms, commercial establishments, and various business sectors operating within Bravo Companyโs AOR, reinforcing the importance of multisectoral cooperation in maintaining peace and stability.
During the forum, participants received briefings on promoting a culture of security, emphasizing vigilance and proactive involvement in their respective workplaces. Law enforcement updates were also discussed, including essential points on existing security policies and the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020, provided by PLT ANTOLIN CARDENAS JR, Deputy Commander of Marilog Police Station, helping stakeholders better understand current regulations and operational realities.
The activity aimed to provide an overview of the existing threat situation and to share best practices in strengthening internal security measures. By enhancing organizational readiness, the forum sought to help businesses deter extortion attempts, prevent criminal activities, and better protect their facilities and personnel.
Moreover, the event served as a valuable platform for building a stronger network between security forces and local stakeholders, ensuring faster coordination and more effective responses to validated threats.
