“Ang Kabataan ang Pag-asa ng Bayan” - Dr. Jose Rizal

Today, December 30, 2023, marks the 127th Death Anniversary of our National Hero, Jose Protacio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda, also known as Dr. Jose Rizal.

He is known as a political activist with his remarkable works: Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo that inspired the Philippine Revolution which eventually led to his ex*****on and death. Rather than holding a sword, he held a pen to show his patriotism and unveil the abuses and injustices of the colonizers.

Until his last breath, Rizal promoted social and political transformation. He fearlessly fought for the country’s independence.
