Naka-open na yung app.
Naka-flash sale.
Naka-red tag.
Naka-all caps ang “BUY NOW.”

Pero ayun ako... nakatitig lang.
Nag-iisip. Naglalaban ang loob.

Sa isang tabi, yung bubbly inner self ko na gustong magshopping, mag-splurge ng kaunti, kasi: “Deserve mo ‘to, Mars!”
Pero sa kabila, yung misiskarte na version ko na may hawak na calculator at naka-furrow ang kilay.

“Pag binili mo ‘yan ngayon, ilang araw kayong sardinas?”
“Yung pambayad mo sa tubig, asan na?”
“May ipon ka pa bang pang-emergency o todo check out na ulit?”

Kaloka si self. 😂

In the end… alam mo na.
Pinili ko ang “X” kaysa “Check out.”
Kasi hindi lahat ng gusto, kailangang bilhin.
At hindi lahat ng naka-sale, para sa’yo.

Pero ‘wag kang mag-alala.
Hindi ito kwento ng pagdadamot sa sarili.
Ito ang kwento ng pagpapaliban… para sa mas malaking reward.
Ito ang kwento ng misis na natutong pumili ng ipon kaysa impulse.

📌 Ipon Tip of the Day:
Pag may gusto kang bilhin, ipahinga muna sa cart ng 3 days.
Kung gusto mo pa rin after 3 days at may budget ka — go!
Pero kung nakalimutan mo na siya, good job sa ‘yo, ipon misis!

My circle is small.
Just me, my husband, and our kids.
That’s all I truly need.

I no longer chase connections with people who never checked in. Whether family or friends, if you made no effort, don’t expect any from me now.

It wasn’t about drama. It wasn’t out of bitterness.
It was me setting boundaries.

I don’t hold hate in my heart. I don’t wish anyone harm.
But I’ve found peace and I’m not giving that up just to be around people who never really valued me.

Call it whatever you like.
I call it healing.
