July 28, 2025 | Miagao National High School's Flag Raising Ceremony

The STVEP Grade 9 Diamond, under the advisory of Mr. Ralph Raven Mupada, sponsored this week’s flag-raising ceremony held at the JHS quadrangle. Sir Sherwin G. Gemarino, Principal II, greeted the students with genuine warmth, asking about their long weekend. He emphasized to everyone the importance of punctuality and attentiveness during class discussions.

A student representative also announced the schedule of activities for the Nutrition Month, including the contests for essay writing, slogan-making, and poster-making.

Furthermore, Jeikhen Evannah Bode, the SSLG vice president, discussed the matters about the election for Grade 7 SSLG Representative and other clubs and organizations.

Miagao National High School Homeroom PTA Meeting Highlights

A productive dialogue between parents and teachers unfolded yesterday as they gathered for the Homeroom Parent-Teacher Association Meeting.

Key topics included the introduction of Project IShine—our shared commitment to student growth and excellence, an overview of this year’s school calendar emphasizing the importance of maintaining at least 80% attendance across 197 school days, discussions on school uniform implementation, and the successful election of our new Homeroom PTA Officers.

This July 2024, we celebrate the 50th Nutrition Month with the theme “Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!” (Together in PPAN for Enough Nutrition for All!). The Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) 2023 to 2028 aims to bring together all sectors, including government, schools, communities, and every Filipino family.

Miagao National High School Joins in Honoring New Leadership
Inauguration Program and Oath-Taking Ceremony
June 28, 2025 • Miagao People's Center

Last June 28, 2025, marked a historic day for the Municipality of Miagao as its newly elected municipal officials formally took their oath of office in a solemn and dignified ceremony, held at the Miagao People's Center following a Eucharistic Celebration at the St. Thomas of Villanova Parish.

Miagao National High School is honored to have taken part in this meaningful event. The Drum and Lyre Corps lent a spirit of festivity and reverence as they welcomed the esteemed officials and guests upon their arrival. Adding grace and cultural vibrance to the celebration, the Hinugyaw Dance Troupe rendered spectacular dance and production numbers that truly captured the spirit of unity, heritage, and celebration.

With pride and purpose, MNHS continues to support civic and cultural engagements that uplift the community and inspire the youth.
