Show Me Your Glory Tour - Cebu
At just 16 years old, I stumbled upon the soul-stirring melodies of Planetshakers and instantly knew I had found something special. From that moment on, their music became the soundtrack to my life, a constant source of inspiration and joy.
For years, I dreamt of experiencing their electrifying performances firsthand, but as a student, attending their worship con seemed like a distant dream. Yet, I held onto hope, knowing that one day, when the time was right, I would stand among the crowd, soaking in every note and beat. 🤞🏻
Fast forward to last year when the stars aligned, and Planetshakers announced their tour in Cebu. With newfound independence and resources, I vowed not to let this opportunity pass me by. Even if it meant traveling far, I was determined to make my dream a reality.
As I eagerly shared the news on Instagram, fate intervened, and my college friend, Ann, saw my post and decided to join me. Together, we bought our tickets, marking the beginning of an unforgettable journey.
Arriving at the venue, a wave of emotions washed over me. Ten years of anticipation culminated in this moment, and I couldn't contain my excitement. THIS IS OUR TIME. 🥹 Little did I know, it would be so much more than just a concert.
In the midst of my vulnerability and shaky relationship with faith over the past months, this night became a beacon of hope and renewal. But it wasn't the filmed moments that captured the essence of the night for me. It was the unrecorded ones – the rain falling softly, tears streaming down my face, and heart overflowing. That, to me, was the true beauty of it all.
As the lyrics echoed in the air, "Thank you, Jesus, that I get to be part of this," I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude. It was indeed a privilege to witness such an extraordinary display of talent and devotion, reaffirming my unwavering love for the house of the Lord.
This night wasn't just about attending a concert – it was a journey of faith, love, and redemption. And as I reflect on it now, I'm filled with gratitude for every moment, every note, and every tear shed. This was more than just a concert; it was a divine encounter that will stay with me forever. 🤍
