ℕ𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥 𝕠𝕗 ℙ𝕣𝕒𝕪𝕖𝕣 𝕒𝕟𝕕 ℝ𝕖𝕗𝕝𝕖𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟: ℍ𝕠𝕟𝕠𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕊𝕥. 𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕖𝕤𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕥𝕙𝕖 ℂ𝕙𝕚𝕝𝕕 𝕁𝕖𝕤𝕦𝕤

On March 10 and 11, overnight vigils were held in honor of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus. Everyone was welcome to join, and some even stayed overnight at the school to participate in the prayers and reflections. Throughout the night, people gathered in silence, worship, and shared devotion, deepening their faith and strengthening their bond as a community. The vigil served as a meaningful reminder of St. Thérèse’s kindness, love, and trust in God, inspiring everyone to embody these values.

𝓥𝓪𝓵𝓮, 𝓢𝓪𝓷𝓬𝓽𝓪 𝓣𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓲𝓪 𝓪 𝓘𝓮𝓼𝓾 𝓘𝓷𝓯𝓪𝓷𝓽𝓮

After a three-day special visit, St. Cecilia’s College-Cebu Inc. bid a heartfelt farewell to the relics of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus. The solemn departure was preceded by a Grand Mass held at the quadrangle of the main building, which began at 8:30 AM, where the Cecilian community gathered in prayer and devotion, honoring the beloved saint one last time.

As a final gesture of faith, devotees were allowed to keep a flower or leaf from the altar where the relic had been placed, serving as a cherished keepsake of the visit. In a touching tribute, the little angels, along with selected students from the Elementary, Junior High, and Senior High departments lined the path for the relic’s departure, gracefully scattering petals as a sign of reverence. As the relic was carried away, a magnificent shower of confetti filled the air, creating a beautiful yet bittersweet farewell.

The presence of St. Thérèse’s relics left a profound impact on the Cecilian community, strengthening their faith and devotion. Though her visit has come to an end, her legacy remains, reminding every Cecilian that no matter where life takes them, Sancta Theresia a Iesu Infante will continue to intercede, guiding them toward the blessings they need. 🌹✨

St. Cecilia's College-Cebu Inc. gathered in solemn prayer for the arrival Mass in honor of St. Therese of the Child Jesus. Her “Little Way” teaches us that holiness is found in simple acts of love and trust in God. May her example continue to inspire our faith.

What a day to remember! From the solemn Holy Mass with 𝑭𝒓. 𝑵𝒆𝒊𝒍 𝑪𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒔 🙏 to the energizing Zumba session 💃, 𝐂𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 kicked off the celebration with faith and excitement!

- Pass the Apple 🍏 & Walk with Me 👣 had our little Cecilians racing to victory! Older students battled it out in Pass the Pingpong Ball 🏓 & the creative Paint Me a Picture 🎨, showing teamwork and quick thinking!

A Day of Fun and Togetherness: SCC Family Day 2025

The much-awaited Family Day at Minglanilla Complex began with doors opening at 8:00 a.m., allowing families, students, and faculty to settle in and prepare for the day's activities. The event officially started at 9:00 a.m. with a Holy Mass, followed by the invocation, the Philippine National Anthem, and the SCC Hymn. To energize the crowd, a community Zumba dance was held before introducing the Learning Communities (LC1, LC2, and LC3). The opening remarks were given by Mrs. Epifania M. Reyes, Principal and PAEB Adviser, followed by an inspirational message from Dr. Alfredo S. Moreno Jr., Vice President-Chief Operating Officer.

The morning was packed with excitement as each Learning Community hosted fun and engaging games, ensuring that both students and parents actively participated. Spectacular performances from the Twirling Gems, LC2 Dance Club, and SCC Himig showcased the school's talents, while LC1 and LC2 teachers also took the stage for special numbers. The crowd eagerly awaited the first round of raffle draws and the thrilling start of the Family Day Bingo. By noon, everyone gathered for a heartwarming community lunch, accompanied by an impressive performance from the SCC Days 2024 vocal champions from JHS and SHS. More raffle draws and surprise performances added to the lunchtime festivities.

The afternoon session continued the celebration with acknowledgments led by PAEB officers, followed by a roll call of Learning Communities. The Cecilian Family Day Duet Singing Contest brought a blend of talent and friendly competition, while the SCC SHS Dance Club and LC3 teachers delivered energetic intermission performances. The event wrapped up with another round of raffle draws, the highly anticipated Family Bingo Social, and the announcement of winners for the singing contest. A closing prayer marked the end of a successful and joyful Family Day, leaving everyone with cherished memories of a day spent strengthening bonds and celebrating community spirit.
