The next love will not be easy access, it will be earned through effort and intention.

If you ever see me in a relationship again, know that it was not built on surface level romance. Flowers fade. Dates end. Sweet messages are nice, but they are not enough to keep a heart safe. What matters is what happens when things get real, uncomfortable, or quiet.

He will know how to communicate, not disappear. He will reassure me without making me ask for it. He will take accountability instead of making excuses. I have outgrown confusion and emotional guessing games. Love should feel clear, not like something I have to decode.

Quality time will be a priority, not an afterthought. Not rushed moments. Not half attention. Real presence. Real effort. Time that makes me feel chosen, not fitted in between other things. Consistency is what builds trust, and trust is what allows softness to exist.

Keeping me in my soft girl era means I feel safe. Safe to rest. Safe to be gentle. Safe to love without armor. That kind of peace does not come from words alone. It comes from actions repeated over time. So if I am loving again, believe me, he earned that place.
