GRAB CLEARS DRIVER ACCUSED OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT

Grab Philippines said they have found no concrete evidence to support the claim or indicate any malicious intent on the part of the driver who went viral for being accused of sexual harassment.

Last week, a Grab driver named Jerricho Narvaez was accused of sexually harassing a student and her sister while inside his vehicle.

Narvaez has denied the accusation, saying he had health issues.

“After a comprehensive review of the Audio Protect recording from the trip, the driver-partner's profile, and performance history, we found no conclusive evidence to support the allegations or indicate any malicious intent,” Grab Philippines said.

With this, Grab lifted the temporary suspension imposed on the driver.

He will also be compensated for the income lost during the suspension, in line with Grab's policies.
