03 July 2025 | The 74th Infantry “Unbeatable” Battalion Officials paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the Local Chief Executive, Mayor Mario M. Madera

The office of Mayor Mario Madera graciously welcomed the officials from the 74th Infantry Battalion in the morning of July 3, 2025.

The visit was part of the battalion’s ongoing efforts to foster strong relationships with local government units and enhance collaboration in promoting peace, security, and community development in their areas of responsibility (AOR).

During the meeting, 1Lt. Klark P. Cometa (Inf) PA, Commanding Officer and Mayor Madera engaged in a meaningful dialogue centered on strengthening civil-military cooperation, addressing local security concerns, and supporting initiatives that contribute to the welfare of Mondragonhons.

Mayor Madera expressed his appreciation for the continued support of the 74th Infantry Battalion in maintaining peace and order in the municipality.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to work hand-in-hand in ensuring a safe and progressive environment for the people of Mondragon.

Unay, BFP Mondragon, Department Heads ngan mga empleyado san munisipyo, Radnet5, Kabalikat Civicom, Street Sweepers, Eco Police ngan mga Traffic Enforcers.

Ini nga aktibidad mao in pagbaton san liderato ni Mayor Jojo san mandato san DILG nga magkundukto san KALINISAN Program, "Kalinga at Inisyatiba para sa Malinis na Bayan". Ini nga programa nag-aaghat san ngatanan nga mga komunidad nga magpartisipar para an kada tagsa maging responsable san paglimpyo san ato bug-os nga palibot.

01 July 2025 | Mayor Jojo met with LGU Employees on his First Day as LCE

On his first day in office, Mayor Jojo Madera called for a meeting of all LGU Employees including the Department Heads and rank-and-file employees.

He officially assumed his role as the new Local Chief Executive after three years of Mayor Lerma's term.

A productive discussion on some points was emphasized like employee's punctuality, No Smoking Policy within the vicinity of the municipal ground and in public places, better fiscal administration and many other important policies and matters that would help build a better Mondragon in the coming years. He also emphasized that the legislature should help the executive to realize all the programs and projects of the LGU for the welfare and benefit of all the Mondragonhons.

Welcome to your second home again, Mayor Jojo, a man who is passionate about progress, selflessly serving his fellow Mondragonhons and whose dream is to see Mondragon continue to URSA.

30 June 2025 | Honoring Mayor Lerma's Three Years of Selfless Service as Municipal Mayor of Mondragon from 2022 to 2025

Mayor Lerma's last afternoon in the office as the Local Chief Executive for three years was full of surprises, joy and excitement, a momentous event she will always treasure forever.

At around 4:00 PM upon her arrival at the entrance of the Municipal Covered Court, she was greeted with bouquets of flowers and applauded by the LGU Employees including the LGU's partner agencies like the DILG, PNP, BFP and the 803rd Maneuver Company, COMELEC, Vice Mayor Myla, SB Members, all Department Heads, Rank-and-File employees and her loving family, her children, grandchildren and of course, her beloved husband and fellow public servant, Mayor Jojo.

A short program followed that started with a prayer and an opening message by the LYDO, Sir Aple de Guia. A Plaque of Recognition was awarded to Mayor Lerma by all the Department Heads of the Local Government Unit for her exemplary leadership, steadfast commitment and remarkable achievements during her 3-year tenure as the Local Chief Executive. Mayor Lerma then responded with a heartfelt message of thanks as she was not expecting of such a very memorable and meaningful send-off party to honor her three years in office as Mayor.

Words of Gratitude were delivered by Mayor Jojo, VM Myla, Municipal Accountant Beverly, SB Member Nickole, Chief of Police PMajor Hamin, BFP Mondragon OIC SFO2 Lora and Deputy Commander of 803rd Maneuver Company RMFB8.

A dance number was presented by the staff and personnel of the Mayor's Office. Afterwhich, messages of thanks were also shared by Atty. Marion Laarni Madera Galang, Mayor Lerma's daughter, Sir Jilbert Pelo, Municipal Budget Officer and Mrs. Rosa Tan, Mayor's Office Staff. The event was graced by former Budget Officer, Ma'am Josefina O. Pelo.

Mayor Lerma's heart was full of joy, thanksgiving and gratefulness. Indeed, the event was successful and worth remembering.
