๐ณ The Seventh-day Adventist Church Monkayo District says yes to planting trees โ and planting hope. ๐ฑ at Purok 3 Bosquit, Barangay San Jose.
"This is more than just putting a seed in the ground โ it's about leaving a legacy, giving life, and taking care of Godโs gift to us all."
With grateful hearts and willing hands, the Monkayo District joins the SEPUM-WIDE Tree Planting Initiative, a noble movement spearheaded by the Southeastern Philippine Union Mission Stewardship Ministries. This initiative reminds us that as believers, we are not only called to share the gospel โ we are also called to care for God's creation.
Leading this meaningful activity is our beloved District Pastor, Pr. Benjie Razo, whose passion for mission continues to inspire the district. Standing faithfully beside him is his supportive wife, Maโam Josabeth Razo, whose presence and dedication touch many lives. Alongside them is Pr. Al Ashraf Cuyos-Sapaih, Church Pastor of Union Church whose presence affirmed the spiritual and environmental significance of this cause. Together with all our local church leaders, this movement was not only organized โ it was deeply felt.
We are also honored by the presence and support of Maโam MaryJudy Damasin from MENRO (Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office). Her involvement highlights the value of partnership between the church and the government in caring for our environment. Thank you for standing with us and for championing sustainability within our community.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the Municipality of Monkayo for providing the seedlings and for being a consistent ally in community service. Every tree planted is not just a plant โ it is a prayer, a promise, and a picture of the future we want to build together.
Because when we plant trees, we donโt just restore the earth โ we renew our mission. We make room for life, for shade, for growth, and for the generations to come.
Letโs keep planting โ not just trees, but love, faith, and responsibility. Because in every act of stewardship, we draw closer to the heart of God.
