In this moment of great loss, we hold close the memory of an educator who gave her all for others, Maโ€™am Elenita โ€œNenengโ€ Caรฑones Melendres.

She is a devoted teacher, a caring friend, and a guiding light to many. Her sudden passing has left a deep void in our hearts and in the halls of Tubo-Tubo National High School.

Maโ€™am Neneng served with humble strength, unwavering dedication, and genuine compassion. Whether in the classroom or in the company of her colleagues, her presence was always warm, supportive, and inspiring.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in remembering the joy she brought into our lives. Her energy, her laughter, and her wisdom will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.

The Brigada Eskwela 2025 officially began with a warm and lively Opening Program with a theme โ€œBrigada Eskwela: Sama-sama para sa Bayang Bumabasa,โ€ bringing together teachers, parents, students, stakeholders, and volunteers to help clean and prepare the school for the new school year.

Everyone worked hand in hand to fix classrooms, repair chairs and tables, and tidy up the surroundings.
Alongside the bayanihan activities, the enrolment for SY 2025-2026 was also held with many parents coming in to register their learners. Incoming Grade 7 learners took the reading assessment to help teachers identify their reading level.
The school also welcomed new enrollees for the Alternative Learning System (ALS), giving more learners a chance to continue their education.

Thank you to all the volunteers who rendered their time and service today.

The event showed the true spirit of bayanihan, as the whole community came together to make sure learners have a safe and welcoming place to study.

The Brigada Eskwela will run until Friday, June 13, 2025.

Today marks the end of the school-based implementation of the Regional Literacy Intervention Program 2025 that started from May 13-June 6, 2025.

Our learners have come a long way from learning letters and sounds to reading with confidence. This is a big step, and we are proud of each one of them!

A heartfelt thank you to faculty and staff headed by the Assistant School Principal II of this institution Maโ€™am Jenny O. Derano for the support all throughout this program.

To our dedicated teacher-volunteers, Maโ€™am Ruby C. Cadavez, Maโ€™am Dazzle Jane P. Mas, Ma'am Christine Jane C. Maribao, Maโ€™am Mary Grace O. Linggas, Maโ€™am Judisa B. In support of the Department of Educationโ€™s thrust to enhance literacy among learners, Tubo-Tubo National High School officially started the school-based implementation of the Regional Literacy Intervention Program. It was actively participated by the teacher-volunteers and selected learners who will take part in the intervention sessions in the coming weeks from May 13 to June 6.

The opening program started with a quick overview of the initiativeโ€™s goals. It was followed by an orientation and some initial reading assessments.
