𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗔 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
Before the sun could ever break the horizon, a sea of vibrant colors had already flooded the town plaza. As early as 5:30 am, Morong National High School students packed the area in colored shirts designated by grade level, bringing the early morning dullness to life.
Minutes later, the kaleidoscope of colors began to move, trooping down the streets of Morong toward their destination. The sea of students eventually arrived at the MNHS Gymnasium, where the real excitement was about to begin.
As one of the school’s most anticipated milestones, this vibrant gathering officially marked the commencement of a two-day grand celebration from September 2-3. Honoring the school’s legacy, the 29th founding anniversary transformed the campus into a high-energy arena of pure talent, wholesome fun, and friendly grade-level rivalry.
Inside the gym, the atmosphere exploded into a lively spectacle of yellow for Grade 7, red for Grade 8, green for Grade 9, and blue for Grade 10. The campus breathed life through an array of student-managed booths, interactive games, and a colorful ‘carnival vibe’ that kept spirits high. It wasn’t just a celebration of history; it was a festival of youth, offering a much-needed break from high academic stress.
The two-day celebration witnessed different grade levels carve out their own victories in various competitions. The Grade 7 Golden Yellow Foxes conquered the match for Rubik's Cube and claimed the most disciplined award, while the Grade 8 Red Deer won best banner and championed the poster-making contest. On the field, Grade 9 dominated MLBB, while Grade 10 Blue Peacock swept CODM, Laro ng Lahi, and the Best Yell and Cheer competition.
The gym then buzzed with anticipation as the students gathered for the most awaited highlight of the anniversary: the search for Binibini at Ginoong Pananghawan 2026. All eyes were glued to the stage as participants stepped forward to rule the sportswear runway, showcase their immense talents, and face the Q&A portion.
The glamour reached its peak as special awards rolled out. Green Pangolins’ Ashley Delosmo and Blue Peacocks’ Lance Torrecampo snatched best sportswear, while Golden Flying Foxes won the hearts of the panel to claim the Judges’ Choice award. Blue Peacock dominated the crowd's support to secure the People's Choice award, while taking home the best in talent title. At last, cheers erupted as Ashley Delosmo and John Matthew Oliveros captured the ultimate crowns of Binibini at Ginoong Pananghawan '26.
When the grand awarding ceremony finally wrapped up the two-day festivities, the overall scores brought one last surprise. Grade 7 secured 3rd place, Grade 8 took 2nd, and Grade 10 landed as the 1st runner-up. In the end, the unstoppable Grade 9 Green Pangolins came out on top, finishing as the overall champion of MNHS’ 2026 Intramurals.
