What's next after you vote?

The elections are done—but now what? The posters are down, the jingles have stopped playing, and winners have been declared. But real change doesn’t happen overnight, and it definitely doesn’t happen just because we voted. It happens when we stay involved—by asking where the funds went, why the projects aren’t finished, and how our leaders are delivering on their promises.

This generation isn’t just the future anymore, we’re the present. With over 21 million Gen Z voters this year, we’re shaping the direction of our country. But our impact doesn’t stop at the ballot. It grows when we get informed, speak up, and hold the line. Beyond the Ballot is a reminder that democracy is not a one-day event, it's a daily act of showing up,stooding firm, staying aware, and never settling for less than what we all deserve.

One week after the elections, what’s next for the youth?

In the last episode of The Servitude, we wrapped things up with a meaningful conversation with Mx. Arvin Gonzales, a Social Science student and active student volunteer. With lively chitchats about the role of the youth before and after voting, we doubled down on how real change continues even after elections.

From being informed before the elections, making smart choices during, and staying involved after, the youth has a big role to play in the future of our country.

The elections are over, but our role as Filipinos doesn’t stop there.

After all the noise that the campaigns made on the streets, the posters and the posts we’ve seen on social media, it’s time to ask ourselves—how do we support the winners in the right way? Not blindly, not like fanatics, but with the country in mind.

SupporTips is here to remind us how to be smart, responsible, and meaningful supporters after the elections. Because being a good citizen isn’t just about voting—it’s also about knowing how to support the right way, with understanding, and with care for others.

As we ripen up until the point where can finally cast our votes, we often had to endure comments about being to young to engage in adult matters. These feelings of being undervalued and unheard, sometimes within our homes, can get boxed away without being properly voiced out when we are finally of age to vote.

Together with Mr. Elijah, we were able to unearth some of these boxed feelings and issues in the 7th episode of The Servitude. In an insightful conversation, we were able to hear from him that unboxing these feelings can lead to more positive relationships and that we can always talk things through!

After the Midterm Elections have passed, what happens next?

In this episode of The Servitude, we’re joined by Mr. Elijha Roque, a passionate student volunteer and civic advocate, as we unbox the overlooked ways of contributing to our community beyond the ballot. Just unboxing like collectibles, finding our voice in “grown-up” conversations and having a space we deserve for our narratives can heal our inner child and in turn build a brighter future with our community.

𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛𝗟𝗬 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥 | We are one sleep away from making a change, make it a good kind of change!

This April is when the campaigning efforts for the Midterm Elections 2025 are at an all time high, except for specific days that we dedicated to reflect during the Holy Week. These moments of silence matter, as it helps us set apart saints from senators, and other government positions.

The Serve releases its second newsletter as a calling that in the coming day of elections, may we stop glorifying the candidates we vote for.
