On December 13th, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) hosted the Testimonial and Thanksgiving Ceremony for Board Passers at Ayala Malls South Park. The program, themed: โHonoring Excellence, Embracing Purposeโ, recognized alumni who successfully passed their licensure examinations in their respective fields.
To officially commence, Ms. Lily Jarata, Dean of Student Affairs and Director of the Center for Culture and the Arts, delivered her opening remarks after the preliminaries. Asst. Prof. Mr. Alni Gavjaymin Casacop, Vice President for Student Life and Development, relayed an inspirational message towards the passers, read by Ms. Thina Gardner, followed by Dr. Elena Presnedi, PLMun OIC President.
Special messages were also delivered by Congressman Jaime Fresnedi, Mayor Rozzano Rufino Biazon, and Vice Mayor Stephanie Teves-Wong, encouraging board passers to serve the community with their newfound expertise.
The PLMUN Band: Euphoria featured harmonious performances that liven the crowd, prior to the awarding of certificates pioneered by university deans and faculties to formally recognize the passers. During alumni testimonials, personal challenges, sacrifices, and lessons experienced by examinees leading to their professional success were shared.
Mr. Jose Querubin Lazar, Alumni President, then conveyed his congratulatory remark, followed by the Unveiling of Pride led by Mr. Mark Anthony Esguerra, Director of the City for Internship and Alumni Affairs.
To conclude, Dr. Danilo Solayao, Vice President for Academic Affairs, delivered the closing remarks, marking the success of the ceremony.
