Yup… that WAS me.
The carefree, spontaneous, full-of-life version of me.
The one who moved through the world with ease and lightness.
But life doesn’t ask permission to change you.
It just does — slowly, quietly, deeply.
Nothing truly prepares you for adulthood, pregnancy, or motherhood.
Your body shifts in ways you didn’t expect.
Your mind rewires.
And your heart begins to live outside your chest.
The woman you were?
She doesn’t disappear —
but she softens into the background,
tucked behind the schedules, the responsibilities,
the version of life that always puts others first.
And honestly?
I miss her.
The girl who felt at home in her own skin.
Who said yes without hesitation.
Who looked in the mirror and didn’t overthink what she saw.
I don’t feel like her anymore.
I don’t look like her either.
And no — I won’t pretend that part is easy.
But this version of me?
She’s something else entirely.
Worn. Weathered. Changed.
But also grounded. Fierce. Sacred.
Alive in ways I never knew I could be.
She’s still in there —
but now, she’s wrapped in something deeper:
Unshakable love.
Relentless strength.
A quiet power that comes from showing up, over and over again.
So in the end… you’re not lost.
You’ve just been remade.
And maybe, just maybe —
this version of you is the most powerful yet. 🤍
