This place is a gem. The overall ambience, furniture choice and utensil choice is head and shoulders above the competition. I was concerned about the restaurant spreading itself too thin trying to cater to different types of asian cuisines, choosing quantity over quality, but I'm glad that wasn't the case.
I ordered their laksa ramen, haianese chicken, and their ube mango sticky rice for desert.
The hainanese chicken was perfectly cooked; the selection of condiments/sauces and taste of the dish was on point.
The laksa ramen, sounding like a malay-japanese offshoot, stays true to it's roots flavorwise and was delicious.
The ube mango sticky rice was alright. Not much to say.
The service was stellar, frankly the best table service I've gotten in the filinvest area.
Overall, it's great place to dine in. The quality, taste, and service justifies the price. I would've given this a 9/10 if the rating system was more granular but giving this restaurant a 4/5 just wouldn't feel right.
Sidenote, the wooden cover of the menu looks premium but the contents were lacking. The menu could benefit from having more pictures and the paper quality could be improved because it feels cheap.
