When asked how animals show us to be grateful this Christmas, Gregg shared his thoughts:

"Christmas is the Season of Giving (and listening to Jose Mari Chan Songs in every shopping mall). An animal that keeps on giving is the humble Honeybee.

Working feverishly, Honeybees and other pollinators are responsible for the spread of over 80% of the world’s wild plants, helping make our planet not just greener, but providing a steady and varied food supply for billions of animals worldwide. Now that’s a gift worthy of some serious holiday praise."

When asked how animals teach us to be grateful this Christmas, our very own Alaina said:

"I think animals carry [a] quiet holiness. They show up at our doors or wander across our paths, often from the humblest, messiest corners of the world with zero
agenda. They’re not stressed about finding the perfect gift or trying to make everything Instagram-worthy. They’re not out here pretending to love fruitcake.

They just exist. Very present, peaceful, and completely unbothered. And honestly? That feels pretty on-brand for the first Christmas.

Jesus wasn’t born in a palace or even a halfway-decent Airbnb. He came into the world in a messy stable, surrounded by hay, dirt, and yep… animals. God literally chose the most humble, chaotic space possible to show up. No small talk. No drama. Just love. The same way with God’s love, uncomplicated and consistent.

They’re like little furry (or feathered, or scaly) sacraments that remind us about how unconditional love doesn’t always show up in grandeur. Sometimes, it just purrs on your lap or eats your leftovers."
