Cats Kiyo and Simba are stealing hearts while their human, Pat Lorenzo, serenades passersby at a mall in Cubao. The two felines often nap beside Pat as she busks, seemingly unfazed by the music and busy surroundings. But their adorable appearances serve a bigger purpose: helping Pat earn money to care for her beloved pets.

A music lover and HR trainer, Pat began busking three years ago to support her studies. She now dedicates much of her earnings to her Cats and supports animal rescue efforts. She also carefully watches her feline companions for signs of stress, making sure their comfort comes first.

Msituni, a baby Giraffe born at San Diego Zoo Safari Park, faced a tough start because a rare condition caused her legs to bend abnormally. Without treatment, her mobility problems could have threatened her survival.

Veterinarians partnered with Hanger Clinic, a company specializing in human prosthetics, to create custom braces that supported her legs.

After 39 days of treatment, Msituni began walking independently. Her mother initially rejected her, but she found solace in the embrace of a nurturing surrogate and was welcomed into the herd.

Her remarkable recovery highlights how veterinary care and innovative medical technology can give vulnerable animals a second chance at life.

Meet Jonathan, a Seychelles Giant Tortoise and the world's oldest living land animal. He was believed to have been born around 1832, making him 194 years old in 2026.

Jonathan was 50 when he was brought to the island of St. Helena in 1882 as a gift for the island's governor at the time. Since then, he has been quietly witnessing human history in his little corner of the Earth.

On June 17, 2026, Jonathan was named a Guinness World Record Icon by the organization. Today, he remains healthy and thriving despite being blind and losing his sense of smell.
