Mindanao State University at Naawan proudly recognizes its students from the College of Environment and Life Sciences for their participation in the 14th Federation of Agriculture Students in Mindanao (FASMin) Congress 2026, held on April 7โ€“11, 2026 at Northwestern Mindanao State College of Science and Technology in Tangub City, Misamis Occidental.

Competing alongside 19 participating universities, the MSUN delegation secured 10th place in the overall ranking, a testament to their dedication, teamwork, and excellence.

Ninety (90) students and six (6) faculty members from the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, major in Animal Science and Agronomy, visited the DAโ€“Regional Crop Protection Center X on April 23, 2026, as part of their educational tour for the ANS 196 and AGM 196 (Seminar and Field Trip) courses.

The participants enhanced their knowledge of biological control agentsโ€”covering their modes of action, application methods, target pests and diseases, and their relevance in the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) system.
