𝗡𝗖𝗙 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬: In compliance with the directive of the Office of the City Mayor, classes in all levels and modalities on all campuses at Naga College Foundation, Inc. (NCF) shall temporarily shift to online asynchronous sessions tomorrow, September 25—amending the second and third paragraphs of the NCF Advisory released earlier this afternoon, September 24.

Therefore, there shall be no activities related to the Intramurals of the Basic Education Department (BED) to be held tomorrow, September 25, until further notice.

This advisory also reiterates that the office functions and business operations at NCF are temporarily suspended effective September 25, at 12:00 noon.

Meanwhile, the Trillion-Peso March sa Kabikolan organizers have confirmed that the Peaceful Protest March has been rescheduled on October 1, 2025.

𝗡𝗖𝗙 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬: On account of the potential threats posed by the Tropical Storm (TS) Opong, Naga College Foundation, Inc. (NCF) will enforce the measures and policies articulated herein to mitigate the impact of .

Classes in all levels and modalities on all campuses, as well as the office functions and business operations are temporarily suspended effective September 25, at 12:00 noon.

Consequently, the ongoing Intramurals of the Basic Education Department (BED) shall be indefinitely postponed effective at the same time.

However, the voluntary participation of students and employees in the Trillion-Peso March shall proceed as planned, subject to a postponement announcement from the organizers.

To ensure an effective, coordinated, and swift assistance for NCean community, the institution’s Incident Management and Response Team (IMRT) is hereby activated. Therefore, employees who are members of the IMRT shall continue to perform their duties.

Employees and students who have concerns due to the impending weather disturbance may request assistance from the Administrative Services Office and Office for Student Affairs, respectively.

Further, NCF encourages the entire community to remain vigilant, follow orders from the authorities, and assist those in need.

𝗡𝗖𝗙 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲—𝗧𝗜𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗜𝗧!

Let the Tigers’ roar against corruption be heard!

Together with a nation demanding accountability, Naga College Foundation, Inc. (NCF) is taking a stand in the Trillion-Peso March Against Corruption: Aldaw nin Pamibi kay Inâ.

Amidst the issues of widespread and pervasive corruption in the Philippine government, it is fitting for the Church and the Academe to join hands in demanding justice and transparency for the Filipino people. This partnership emphasizes that prayer must be coupled with action, and learning must be accompanied by service.

As an expression of solidarity, all NCF stakeholders—particularly students and employees—are encouraged to partake in the Peaceful Protest March on September 25, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., from NCF Peñafrancia Gate to Peñafrancia Basilica Minore.

NCF will provide complimentary T-shirts for the first 200 employees and 200 students (25 per college) on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration of participants and the distribution of shirts will be handled by the respective unit heads and student councils.

To facilitate student and employee participation and to mitigate potential traffic congestion, all undergraduate classes at NCF are suspended on September 25, effective at 1:00 p.m. Classes will resume as scheduled on September 26.

The Basic Education Department (BED) Intramurals, on the other hand, will proceed as usual.

Every peso stolen represents a future lost. Therefore, let us stand united and march for a future free from corruption, demanding that those responsible be held accountable.

Through the intercession of Inâ, may God heed our prayer for integrity and justice, and grant us a nation freed from the scourge of corruption.

The journey of the NCF–GNN Campus Correspondent in the Peñafrancia Festival 2025 was one filled with faith, challenge, and meaning.

From covering the Traslacion to witnessing the Fluvial, the experience extended beyond the lens and the broadcast. It was about being present in the devotion, capturing the stories, and offering them to Ina through live reports, ground assistance, and editing.

Each moment carried the weight of responsibility and the joy of service, proof that journalism is more than news. It is heart, it is faith, and it is dedication.

A journey truly worth remembering, All for Ina.💛

FEATURE | CCS Tiger Startup Brews Success this Peñafrancia Festival

A young Tiger entrepreneur has turned his small savings into a budding coffee venture just in time for this year’s Peñafrancia festivities. On September 11, John Paul B. Cardiel, a former student of the NCF-College of Computer Studies, officially launched DYAN Street Coffee, a pop-up stall that now regularly serves evening customers outside 7-Eleven in Liboton from 5 p.m. to 12 midnight.

Cardiel, who worked hard to save ₱3,000, first tested his entrepreneurial spirit last summer by selling halo-halo and fruit sodas, which became the seed capital for his coffee business. With perseverance and resourcefulness, he has already managed to recover 50% of his initial investment in less than a week of operations.

DYAN Street Coffee has since attracted both locals and tourists, offering not just affordable brews but also a taste of startup spirit. For Cardiel, it’s just the beginning of a dream to grow his small stall into something bigger and hopefully, if the venture flourishes, to fund his return to college and finish his studies

Despite temporarily leaving college to focus on his startup business, Cardiel still proudly wears his NCF-CCS shirt while tending his stall.
