There are moments when people say things about us that hurt, things we wish they hadnβt said. It's easy to want to fight back, to defend ourselves, to explain. But here's the truth: their words are their story, not ours.
β We can't control what others think, feel, or say about us.
π We can't stop their perception of us from shaping their reality.
π And you know what? That's okay.
The more we try to control the narrative, the more we find ourselves stuck in cycles of frustration. It's exhausting. It's draining. π
But there is peace in silence. π€«
π§ββοΈ When those words sting, instead of reacting, take a step back.
π¬οΈ Take a breath.
ποΈ Be still.
The truth will always rise, and we donβt need to prove it. Let them have their story, and let us have our peace. π
The best thing we can do is:
π Keep our hearts calm.
β¨ Protect our own peace.
π Pray for them.
Pray for their healing, their understanding, and their growth. They are fighting battles we might never know about. π‘οΈ
Remember, we donβt need to fight every battle. Some battles are meant to be left alone, and some things are better handled in prayer and quiet strength. πͺ
We were never meant to carry others' opinions as our own. Let go, and let your peace speak louder than their words ever could. π«
β¨ Trust that your story, your heart, and your journey will shine through, no matter what others say. β¨
