In Freelancing, clients need growth partners, not just
task-doers!
Something every freelancer or VA should ponder especially aspiring ones.
We are here to support the client’s business growth, not just to complete the task.
Make them feel you are a business partner, not just an employee.
For me having a niche and skills that are valuable for businesses that drive sales or growth are the key to taking your spot in the VA industry.

Working from home takes more than just a laptop and Wi-Fi. It takes discipline, consistency, and the right mindset to truly thrive in this industry. 💻✨
It’s easy to fall into the comfort of pajamas and a messy desk, but remember how you show up for yourself every day reflects how you show up for your goals. So, dress up even when no one’s watching, organize your space, and carry yourself like the professional you aspire to be.
Because success doesn’t come from comfort, it comes from showing up, staying focused, and believing you belong where you’re headed. 🌟

As a mother, we tend to think where to get an extra income. I’m a workaholic person and I can do all things for my family.
Before I jumped into a freelancing job, I worked as an ESL teacher in 51talk for almost 6 months. The experience was fun and full of learning. I’ve got regular students, met different chines personalities and love my work as an online teacher and it’s hard to let them go but I can’t stay much longer because I need to choose my health over them and my career.
This became my stepping stone to look forward to the freelancing industry. Now, I’m happy and I can say I’m blessed because through the help of God I had a smooth transition from ESL teacher to virtual assistant through the help of my Canadian client. Everything started with her and I am very much thankful to her.
Fast forward, I joined an online group that helps mothers to work at home and I am blessed for being their member and all of the skills that I have now is because of their free and paid trainings. Not just that, you’ll love to be part of it because of the people with this community are helpful, positive and full of enthusiasm.
