To better understand how school programs support studentsโ€™ learning and well-being, The Asia Foundation recently visited the school to observe the operations of its Central Kitchen (CK).

The visit aimed to see firsthand the good practices of schools in implementing education programs, particularly the School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP), which plays an important role in improving studentsโ€™ health and learning.

During the visit, the team also learned about the protocols in school management and daily operations inside the CK.

#๐‘ณ๐’๐’๐’Œ| Jollibee foundation visits school for Busog Lusog Talino Program

Representatives from the Jollibee Foundation, under its Busog Lusog Talino Program, conducted a courtesy visit and a site inspection in connection with the possible refurbishment of the schoolโ€™s Central Kitchen (CK).

The activity was welcomed and facilitated by Rowena Tabilog, school principal, in coordination with the Local Government Unit (LGU), particularly from the City Population and Nutrition Office (CPNO), who led the interview and conducted a site inspection.

The group discussed plans and coordination for strengthening the school feeding initiatives, according to the school administration.

In addition, the team explored possible areas within the school for the potential ground-up construction of a new kitchen facility to further improve food preparation and nutrition services for learners provided by the CK.

This initiative aims to support the health, nutrition, and academic performance of students through sustainable feeding programs.

Together, we work toward raising healthier and brighter learners!

Aice Ice Cream-Naga gives free ice cream, basketballs to ConGrande ES

To foster a positive, supportive, and joyful learning environment for the pupils, Aice Ice Cream-Naga launched its Aice Campus Care: Gift-giving for Growth and Learning program, and one of its beneficiaries was the school, which held last February 13.

According to Rowena Tabilog, school principal, the company gave two basketballs to encourage exercise aside from the free product sampling to every Grade 6 student, which made them happy.

The event ended with the school receiving a certificate of appreciation to celebrate a partnership that shows how local businesses can support the overall health and happiness of young learners.
