A new set of Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) officers was officially elected at Concepcion Grande Elementary School (CGES) following the school-wide election held on February 13.
The proclamation of winners was presided over by Daryl Jane Lizardo, SELG adviser, on February 16, marking the start of the new student leadersโ preparation for the coming school year.
During the election, the current SELG members assisted in distributing ballots to pupils across different grade levels, followed by the voting process, the collection of ballots, and the counting before lunchtime, according to its adviser.
Elected as the new SELG officers are Don Arris Macawili as president; Airam Mitch Felonia, vice president; Andrea Nicole Leonidas, secretary; Jade Ocampo, treasurer; Xyrine Adira Mortega, auditor; Casey Jalila Masapol, public information officer; and Brenan Cena, protocol officer.
Meanwhile, Yuki Ace Puja was elected as Grade 6 representative, Charmaine Cabrera as Grade 5 representative, Edric Elleh Felipe as Grade 4 representative, and Ethan Machica as Grade 3 representative.
The newly elected officers are expected to lead various student initiatives and represent the learners of CGES in promoting leadership, cooperation, and active participation in school activities, along with their roles and responsibilities.
