Bagamat nakatanggap na sila tita ng paunang tulong mula sa lokal na pamahalaan ng aming barangay (BLGU Sibaguan) at maging sa lokal na pamahalaan ng aming bayan (LGU Sagñay), alam ko na kukulangin pa rin sila dahil sa malaking pinsala na sunog at hindi magiging madali para sa kanila ang makapag simulang muli.

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region V is conducting an investigation into the viral video showing an alleged reckless driving incident in Naga City, Camarines Sur.

Following the initial evaluation of the incident and the available evidence, the LTO has issued a Show Cause Order (SCO) directing the driver to explain within ten (10) days why he should not be held administratively liable for Reckless Driving under Section 48 of Republic Act No. 4136.

Moreover, the registered owner is likewise required to explain why he should not be fined for employing reckless driver pursuant to Item IV (Violations in Connection with Franchise), No. 7 of DOTC Joint Administrative Order No. 2014-01.

The subject vehicle has been placed under ALARM pending the resolution of the administrative case."

RED ALERT STATUS

The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) has raised the Red Alert Status effective September 8, 2026, in connection with the Peñafrancia Festival 2026, with heightened monitoring of the African Swine Fever (ASF) situation and air quality in the province.

All concerned agencies and LGUs are enjoined to remain vigilant, ensure readiness of response resources, continuously monitor their respective areas, and immediately report significant incidents requiring assistance or additional resources.
