Two men.
Opposite sides.
One just gained power.
One just lost it.

Pero both of them referenced the same thing.
“God.”

Cayetano said he wants to “serve God above all.”
Sotto said, “I leave it to God.”

Maka hunahna ka ba,

When two politicians on opposite sides both pray to God, kay kinsa kaha sila ga-pray?

Different ba ilang version of God?
Or same God lang gyud watching two men fight for power in very different positions sa life?

Usahy ba kay maka-isip ka that faith in politics becomes both weapon and comfort. *Char murag wala ge chatgpt. HAHAHA

Ang isa naga pray while ascending.
Ang isa naga pray while falling.

Pero both still looked upward.

Mao ning reason nganong fascinating kaayo ang Philippine politics.

Murag chess game mixed with faith, ego, loyalty, and destiny.

And somehow, everybody believes God is on their side.

If there’s one quiet privilege of being a teacher, it’s getting to witness students grow and reach their milestones year after year. 🎓✨

Beyond the diplomas and medals, one of the most touching parts for me is seeing the parents in tears—tears of joy, pride, sacrifice, and maybe even separation anxiety after years of doing everything for their children. Some probably came home from working far away just to witness this once-in-a-lifetime moment. 🤍

While browsing our school’s official page, it suddenly hit me that another school year is just around the corner. And maybe that realization is also my gentle reminder—to start preparing myself again. Emotionally, mentally, physically, and in every way I can. One school year at a time. 🌱✨
And every commencement exercise becomes a reminder for me, too—that life is not just about surviving, but continuously thriving in every aspect, no matter how challenging the journey gets.🤍

Since day one, I knew I had to hustle.
From being a bayaning puyat to eventually landing my own local and foreign clients—more than one—I carried that mindset with me. I chose this path not just for myself, but as a parent who needed to stand firm and provide, rather than depend on someone who couldn’t fully show up emotionally and responsibly in all aspects (father of my kid).

So early on, I already conditioned myself—kailangan kong pagsabayin.
My former freelance gigs and now, my role in the academe as a full-time Senior High School teacher.

There came a point where I realized… I didn’t really have the luxury to choose just one path.
Hindi puwedeng, teacher ka na, doon ka na or freelancer ka na, doon ka na.

Life showed me that there are so many opportunities available—and I embraced that.
Thank You, Lord, for the skills You continue to help me improve and the strength to carry it all. 🤍✨

I came from freelancing—full-time SMM, working with clients, building brands, creating content I genuinely loved. Then I entered the academe… became a Senior High School teacher, a mom, and someone who now wears multiple hats all at once.

At first, I thought I had to let one go.
Na baka hindi talaga kayang pagsabayin.

But along the way, I realized…
hindi pala kailangan mamili—kailangan mo lang matutong mag-balance.

And to be honest, it’s not easy.
May days na naka-focus ka sa lesson plan, then biglang may design deadlines.
May times na classroom concerns muna before client work.
Nakakapagod. Nakaka-overwhelm. Real talk.

But here’s what I discovered…

Your skills don’t disappear.
Your passion doesn’t fade.

In fact, they grow—together.

From being a former full-time SMM, I still get to do what I love—creating, designing, and turning ideas into something meaningful. And now, with the right clients and better alignment, it feels more intentional… more aligned with who I am as a woman, a mom, and a professional.

This is not just about “extra income.”
It’s about building a second path.
A space where you can grow, express, and create something for yourself.

You don’t have to rush.
You don’t have to leave where you are right now.
