𝗔𝗗𝗖𝗘𝗣 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗙𝗘𝗥

The Association of Development Communication Educators and Practitioners (ADCEP) is an established organization formed to advance the practice of Development Communication fostering dialogue and discourse about the narratives, trends, challenges and future of the field in the local, national, and global contexts (ADCEP Philippines).

The 3rd ADCEP International Conference and 13th Scientific Meeting embodies the theme “𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀” as the central narrative for this year’s big event. This gathering highlights the function of communication to connect and foster positive change in the society through ethical and empathetic approach of discourse.

Last October 24, 2025, this indie/indie-folk band from Naga City took the Studio Blue stage with songs that spark awareness and reflection. ✨ Kriola’s music dives deep into politics, social issues, and personal experiences, creating powerful stories that invite conversation and change.

Beyond the spotlight, they shared their journey — who they are as artists, what motivates their music, and the messages they hope listeners take away. Kriola spoke about using their voice to shine a light on the world we live in and inspire us all to think and feel more deeply.
