𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗕𝗨𝗞𝗟𝗔𝗗 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝗧𝗪𝗢

The BUKLAD Arts and Culture Fest was celebrated last February 15–16, 18, 23, and 27–28, 2026 at Ateneo de Naga University. Headed by the Creative Endeavors Council, the festival featured a series of activities that highlighted art, culture, and resistance.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗥: Pixels of Bikol: Digital Artworks Exhibition showcased a curated selection of 20 high-quality digital pieces. Spanning illustration, concept art, motion graphics, and game art, the exhibit was presented through the facilities of the DIA Laboratory, alongside a complementary online exhibition.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗙𝗜𝗩𝗘: A Theater and Dance Workshop was held, featuring Alberto Saldajeno, who led a session on Mime and Theatrical Dance.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗦𝗜𝗫: The festival ended with a concert night.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗕𝗨𝗞𝗟𝗔𝗗 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝗢𝗡𝗘

The BUKLAD Arts and Culture Fest was celebrated last February 15–16, 18, 23, and 27–28, 2026 at Ateneo de Naga University. Headed by the Creative Endeavors Council, the festival featured a series of activities that highlighted art, culture, and resistance.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗢𝗡𝗘: A film screening featuring Lakbay2Love and Boses (from Pelikulove) was successfully held, followed by a meaningful talkback session with Direk Ellen Marfil.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗧𝗪𝗢: The event opened with a forum on art and resistance featuring Dr. Raniela Barbaza, who discussed “Orosipon kan Bikolnon in Today’s Time,” and Niles Jordan Breis of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, who presented “Ani ng Sining: Katotohanan at Giting.” This was followed by an art installation and “Mga Larawan na ‘di Pasisiil,” a gallery of works that have been censored, threatened, or created in defiance.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘: ‎Over 60 students of Ateneo de Naga Senior High School and College participated in the Editorial Cartooning Workshop by Ara Yosef Orendain Valiente at Richie Fernando Hall.

‎The workshop shared tips on on editorial cartooning, sharpening skills in visual storytelling, satire, and critical thinking while encouraging creative expression on social and political issues

The Blessing and inauguration of the Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Station of the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) V with Fr. Gabriel Lamug-Nañawa, SJ as presider. The CAAQMS is installed at the Ateneo de Naga University grounds through a MOA with the EMB V of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). In attendance are the key officials of the EMB V, City ENRO, Naga City councilor, and the Institute for Environmental Conservation And Research (INECAR) of ADNU.
