𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐝 | 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

Personnel from the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Quirino conducted an on-site inventory of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ICT resources, and other essential school equipment today at Wasid Integrated School. This routine check aims to ensure the readiness and safety of the school facilities in support of quality education delivery.

Among the team was Sir Rodante L. Nadal, Education Program Supervisor (EPS) in MAPEH, who took the opportunity to not only assist with the inventory but also deliver a meaningful Technical Assistance (TA) session to both students and teachers.

Sir Nadal emphasized the importance of the 4Rs—Reading, Writing, ’Rithmetic, and Right Conduct—as cornerstones of holistic learning. He encouraged the school community to uphold these core educational values, reminding everyone that academic skills must always be accompanied by strong character and discipline.

Teachers and learners expressed their gratitude for the visit and shared how inspired they were by the supervisor’s insights. His encouragement further motivated the school to continue its pursuit of excellence in both academics and values formation.

Thank you, Sir Nadal, for your presence, support, and wisdom. Your visit has truly made an impact on the hearts and minds of every Wasidian.

The day ended with renewed enthusiasm among the faculty and learners, aligned with the shared goal of nurturing a safe, well-equipped, and value-driven learning environment.

𝗪𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗗 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗙𝗨𝗟 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗘 𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠

Wasid, June 28, 2025 — A wave of joy swept through Wasid Integrated School this morning as students received pair of shoes through the heartwarming outreach initiative “Soles of Kindness: Bridging Hearts Across the Seas.” The activity, held at the school grounds, was one of the requirements of Micah Mariel Antimano, an incoming 8th grader and newly inducted Treasurer of the National Junior Honor Society at Minneola Charter School, Minneola, Florida, took the initiative to launch this service project on our school grounds.

The project was made possible thanks to the generous donations from the entire school community, neighbors, and coworkers and friends from Florida, USA, who kindly donated dozens of pairs of shoes to children in Wasid.

Children from Kindergarten to Grade 10 excitedly gathered on the school grounds where they were warmly welcomed by school staff and volunteers. The event began with a short program, followed by the actual distribution of shoes. Volunteers took time to personally fit and assist each child, ensuring they received the perfect size.

School Principal, Dr. Delmar Batara, conveyed his sincere appreciation to Mr. Patrick Antimano, his college friend of many years, along with his wife, Mrs. Michelle Antimano, and their children, Micah Mariel and Jayden Patrick. He also recognized Ms. Mikaela Antimano from the Girl Scout of the Philippines-Quirino Chapter, as well as Hon. Melanie M. Batara, who consistently supports WIS, and all the local volunteers who contributed to organizing the event.

The day ended with smiles, laughter, and children proudly wearing their new shoes. It was a true celebration of generosity and compassion—one that left a lasting footprint in the hearts of all who participated.

The school looks forward to continuing meaningful outreach programs that build bridges of kindness and create opportunities for all learners.

Wasid, June 19, 2025 — Wasid Integrated School proudly recognized the outstanding achievements of its student-athlete, Bricks Zyven B. Anical, during a short awarding ceremony held at the school grounds this morning. Anical brought pride to the school and the entire community after bagging 1 gold and 2 silver medals in the CAVRAA Paragames Swimming – Youth Category held in Santiago City last April 23–26, 2025.

In acknowledgment of his remarkable performance, the school awarded Anical a cash incentive totaling 𝟐,𝟎𝟎𝟎.𝟎𝟎— ₱1,000.00 for his gold medal and ₱500.00 for each of his two silver medals.

School Principal Dr. Delmar Batara led the awarding and praised Anical for his discipline, perseverance, and unwavering spirit.

“Bricks is not only an inspiration to his fellow students but also a symbol of strength and determination,” Dr. Batara said. “This incentive is a simple way of showing how much we value and celebrate his hard-earned success.”

Dr. Batara also challenged all learners to begin training as early as now in preparation for the upcoming school and district-level sports events.

“Let Bricks’ victory be a reminder that with consistent effort and dedication, great things are possible,” he added. “Start preparing now — we want to see more Wasidians rise and shine in sports.”

Anical’s victory marks another milestone for the school’s Special Sports Program and continues to promote inclusivity and support for differently-abled learners in the field of athletics.

The entire Wasid Integrated School community extends its heartfelt congratulations to Bricks Zyven B. Anical and looks forward to more victories in the future.

📚✨ First Day High at Wasid IS ✨📚

Today, June 16, 2025, WIS officially welcomed learners back to school! Smiles, laughter, and excitement filled the classrooms and hallways as students, teachers, and parents kicked off another year of learning, growth, and new beginnings. 🌟

As a way to encourage punctuality and discipline, our teachers awarded school supplies and cash prizes to the most punctual students per grade level and those who came in complete school uniform. 🕗🎒👕

🎉 Adding more motivation, Dr. Delmar Batara, School Principal II, also gave ₱100 cash incentives to both the most punctual students and teacher—a small but meaningful gesture to inspire consistency and responsibility.

Let’s make this school year our best one yet—Sama-sama para sa matatag na kinabukasan ng mga Wasidian! 🙌📘

Wasid, June 13, 2025 — Pormal nang nagtapos ang Brigada Eskwela Week sa Wasid Integrated School noong Hunyo 13, 2025. Ang aktibidad ay pormal na sinimulan noong Hunyo 9 sa pamamagitan ng isang makulay na motorcade, sinundan ng isang maikling programa at sabay-sabay na paglinis, pagsasaayos, at pagkukumpuni ng mga silid-aralan at iba pang pasilidad ng paaralan.

Sa loob ng limang araw, sama-samang nagtrabaho ang mga g**o, magulang, estudyante, barangay officials, mga miyembro ng SK, TUPAD beneficiaries, at iba pang stakeholders upang matiyak ang kahandaan ng paaralan para sa darating na pasukan. Ipinakita ng lahat ang diwa ng bayanihan sa temang “Brigada Eskwela: Sama-sama para sa Batang Bumabasa.”

Lubos ang pasasalamat ng pamunuan ng paaralan sa lahat ng tumugon at tumulong sa matagumpay na pagsasagawa ng Brigada Eskwela 2025. Gayundin, bukas pa rin ang paaralan sa sinumang nais pang maghandog ng kanilang oras, serbisyo, o anumang suporta sa mga susunod na araw.

Ang pagkakaisa at boluntaryong paglilingkod ng bawat isa ang nagsilbing susi sa tagumpay ng Brigada Eskwela ngayong taon — isang patunay na kapag sama-sama, kayang-kaya ang anumang hamon.

Wasid, June 9, 2025 — Wasid Integrated School officially launched its School-based Brigada Eskwela 2025 on Monday, June 9, with a vibrant and energetic kick-off that brought together teachers, parents, students, and community volunteers in a united effort to prepare the school for the upcoming academic year.

The event began with an early motorcade around the community, signaling the start of the annual weeklong program aimed at promoting volunteerism and bayanihan in public schools.

WIS community once again demonstrated that with unity and shared purpose, great things can be accomplished — not just for the school, but for the future of its learners.

Brigada Eskwela 2025 will continue throughout the week with various activities designed to further improve the school’s facilities and readiness for the opening of classes.
