𝐈𝐂𝐉𝐄 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲

‎Last March 3, 2026, the Institute of Criminal Justice Education (ICJE) celebrated its 11th Founding Anniversary at the DMMMSU–MLUC Covered Court with the theme “Maika-Sangapulo ket Maysa a Pammadayaw: Panagkaykaysa ken Ragsak iti Panagduras.”

‎The celebration featured a Thanksgiving Mass, Opening Program, ICJE Pammadayaw, Awards and Recognition, and Team Building Activities, highlighted by inspiring messages from Aurora R. Laroya (Director, ICJE) and Patrolwoman Lady Nicolle P (Keynote Speaker).

‎The event brought together students, faculty, and guests in a meaningful celebration of unity, achievement, and the continued growth of the ICJE community.

The Institute of Criminal Justice Education (ICJE) successfully conducted a Board Operations activity on January 28, 2026, as part of its preparations for the upcoming Licensure Examination for Criminologists scheduled this February.

Led by the ICJE Director, Aurora Rillera Laroya together with faculty members, staff, and representatives of the ICJE SBO, SCAPC and Sports and Cultural, the team visited Kaalibtakan Class of 2025, ICJE graduates currently in their final review phase. The visit became a meaningful moment of connection as former professors and mentors reunited with their students, offering words of encouragement rooted in perseverance, faith, discipline, and confidence. The heartfelt messages created an atmosphere that was both emotional and uplifting, leaving many examinees deeply moved while strengthening their resolve and reminding them that they carry the support of their institution as they prepare for the board examination.

The Institute of Criminal Justice Education successfully held the Reception Rites and Send-Off Ceremony for Batch 𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗚-𝗗𝗜𝗪𝗔 (𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗯 𝗽𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘀) on December 27, 2025, at Naguilian Central School.

Guided by the theme "𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝑷𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆, 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒏 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝑯𝒐𝒏𝒐𝒓, 𝑫𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑬𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆", the event marked the students’ formal preparation for their 𝗢𝗻-𝘁𝗵𝗲-𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗢𝗝𝗧).

The ceremony featured inspiring messages from 𝗟𝗧 𝗥𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗖. 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗲ñ𝗮 and 𝗜𝗖𝗝𝗘 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗮, along with pass and review drills, reception rites, and the awarding of certificates—highlighting discipline, unity, and excellence.

𝐈𝐂𝐉𝐄’𝐬 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫-𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

The Institute of Criminal Justice Education Christmas Party was a meaningful and joyful celebration filled with learning, camaraderie, and festive spirit. The program formally began in the morning with a prayer and the singing of the National Anthem, setting a respectful and unified tone for the day. This was followed by engaging academic activities such as the Quiz Bee and Spelling Bee, where ICJE students actively participated, showcased their knowledge, and enjoyed friendly competition in a fun and lively atmosphere.

In the afternoon session, the program continued with an opening message from our Dean, Ma’am 𝐀𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐑. 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐲𝐚, whose remarks inspired and motivated everyone present. The excitement carried on through interactive team games thoughtfully prepared by the SBO officers, promoting teamwork, cooperation, and shared laughter among the students. The event also recognized excellence and participation through the awarding of winners from both the morning and afternoon activities.

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt gift-giving activity, symbolizing generosity, gratitude, and the true spirit of Christmas. The ICJE Christmas Party ended with smiles, full hearts, and lasting memories, strengthening the bond among students, officers, and faculty as one ICJE family.

The 4th Year Criminology students of ICJE successfully conducted a seminar on Police Blotter Reporting on December 12, 2025, at the Course Audit Room of DMMMSU–ELUC.

The seminar was hosted by 𝑺𝒊𝒓 𝑨𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒆 𝑮𝒂𝒚𝒐 𝑷𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒚 and centered on the proper preparation, documentation, and legal significance of police blotter reports in law enforcement practice. The activity was conducted under the guidance and supervision of the OJT Coordinators, 𝑫𝒓. 𝑨𝒖𝒓𝒐𝒓𝒂 𝑹. 𝑳𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒚𝒂, 𝑺𝒊𝒓 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑴. 𝑭𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒂, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒂’𝒂𝒎 𝑨𝒓𝒆𝒊𝒂 𝑴𝒂𝒆 𝑸𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒔𝒐𝒍.

This academic undertaking enhanced the students’ theoretical knowledge and practical competence, which will be instrumental as they prepare for professional practice, particularly in promoting accurate record-keeping, institutional accountability, and effective case documentation in their future roles within law enforcement agencies.
