The Teacher Education Department (TED) and the Young Educators' Society held their 3rd Pinning & Candle Lighting Ceremony on September 3, 2026, at the AquaBEST Building.

The program officially began with a processional, an invocation led by Dr. Resty Samosa. This was immediately followed by the pinning ceremony, which involved the teaching internship students and their parents.

The event continued with the candle lighting ceremony for the teaching interns, followed by the Pledge of Commitment of a Pre-Service Teacher led by representative Reena Lyn V. Lictao. The students also offered a special tribute to their parents and guardians.

The ceremony formally concluded with closing remarks from TED Chairperson Ms. Sarah M. Pascua.

To help students become familiar with their program's guidelines and academic expectations for the new academic year, Management Department conducted a departmental orientation for Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) students on August 19 at the AquaBEST Building.

The program officially began with opening remarks from MD Chairperson Prof. Edriane E. Serrano. After the introduction of the faculty members, the orientation covered essential university policies, including the academic and department calendars, program and laboratory guidelines, research protocols, the Quality Management System (QMS), and waste management procedures.

The event also featured the Alliance of Hospitality Management, encouraging students to take an active role in their studies and departmental activities throughout the new semester.
