𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐔𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐍-𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

Students enrolled in F**T 4 gathered early on June 5, 2025, at Cavite State University Naic to participate in the much-awaited In-House Day Camp, facilitated by PE instructors from the Arts and Sciences Department.

Prof. Rodolfo V. Bagay, Jr., ASD Chairperson, delivered the opening address, followed by an inspirational message from Prof. Armina B. Pugay, Campus Administrator.

Camp rules were presented by Mr. Sid Karlson S. Cortez and Mr. Renato S. Tanglao, Jr., while reminders were given by Mr. Allan C. Guanlao, Safety Officer, and Mr. Kernell Warren M. Rodil, Pollution Control Officer.

Resource speakers introduced by Mr. Leo Augustus B. Jacob, SDS Unit Head, delivered talks on First Aid, including Bandaging by Mr. Guanlao, Basic CPR by Ms. Queenie M. Ragas, Campus Nurse, and Lifting and Moving by Mr. Cortez.

In the afternoon, students participated in recreational games such as tug of war, earth ball, Larong Pinoy, basketball, and volleyball. A clean-up drive was then held around the campus and shoreline.

As the day ended, participants departed the campsite filled with fun, learning, and a deeper sense of camaraderie.

𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐘 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐆𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐒

The 2025 University Games came to a close on May 23 at the International Convention Center, Cavite State University – Indang Main Campus.

This year’s university games highlighted the incredible talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship of student-athletes, coaches, and every staff member who joined and contributed to the success of the event. A heartfelt congratulations goes to CCAT Piston for claiming the overall championship title this year.

Beyond the medals, it was also announced that the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and the CvSU-Naic Campus will proudly host the University Games 2026.

Once again, congratulations to all the athletes, coaches, and organizers who made the 2025 University Games a true success. Until next time, may the spirit of the games continue to inspire us all.

The Naic Dolphins showcased determination and effort in the table tennis competition of the University Games.

In the women’s singles, both players displayed grit and tactical gameplay, each securing 1 win but falling short in 2 matches. Meanwhile, the men’s singles faced tough opposition, with Singles A unable to secure a victory, while Singles B claimed 1 win in their challenging campaign.

In doubles, the Dolphins fought valiantly, earning 1 win and 2 losses. While the results may not have reached the podium, the team’s spirit and commitment exemplify their dedication to the sport.

The Naic Dolphins Arnis team proudly represented their university at the University Games 2025 held at Cavite State University Main Campus, achieving success in the Arnis . Maecy Stephanie Dino led the Naic Dolphins with her silver medal win in Women's Combat Category 7, demonstrating exceptional skill and determination.

The men's team also displayed impressive skill and sportsmanship. Andrew Tambac (Combat Category 4), Eric Adrian Estapia (Combat Category 1), Arjahn Klein Caseserano (Combat Category 3), and Luzbert Bayas (Combat Category 2, Non-traditional Anyo) all competed fiercely, representing the Naic Dolphins with pride. Despite the lack of medals, the men's team's dedication and strong performances were a testament to their unwavering team spirit and commitment to the sport.

The Naic Dolphins delivered a spirited performance in the futsal arena during the University Games. Starting strong, they edged out the CCJ Vanguards with a 2-1 victory and secured another thrilling win against Cavite City, 3-2. However, they faced formidable opposition, falling to the dominant CSPEAR Warriors (0-5) and Bacoor (1-4).

Their quest for a podium finish came to a dramatic conclusion in the battle for bronze against the Imus Heroes, where the Dolphins fought valiantly but narrowly missed out on a medal. Despite the setbacks, their relentless effort and unyielding team spirit left an indelible mark on the competition.

The Naic Dolphins in Bracket B of the Sepak Takraw competition demonstrated their competitive spirit in the 2025 University Games. Over two days of intense matches, they faced tough opponents, including Carmona, General Trias, Bacoor, CSPEAR, and CCJ. Their skill and determination earned them two wins and two losses, securing a spot in the quarterfinals.

Though their journey ended in the quarterfinals, the Dolphins' impressive plays and teamwork reflected their commitment to the sport and their pride as representatives of Naic. They leave the court with heads held high, embodying the fighting spirit of true athletes.
