In Hebrew, 𝑏𝑒 𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑙𝑙 means 𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐚́𝐡—to let go, to relax, to stop striving.

And honestly, that's not easy.

It's hard to stay still when bills keep coming,
when test results aren't what we hoped for,
when relationships remain strained and dreams feel out of reach.

Yet the Lord gently reminds us to let go and leave everything in His hands (Psalm 46:10), knowing that He knows better than we do.

So whenever anxiety creeps in—𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐚́𝐡.

𝐁𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥. 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤.

𝐑𝐢𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞—𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐧, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

This page has been quiet for a while—not because the dream ended, but because it needed time. Dreams are sometimes put on hold for reasons we don’t always understand. That doesn’t mean they’re gone.

For now, Riposo won’t be reopening as a café just yet. Instead, we’re using this space to share short stories—𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕, 𝒉𝒐𝒑𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕.

We believe that if it’s God’s will, what’s meant to happen will come to pass—𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. Until then, let’s pause, breathe, and be inspired together. 🤍

Hi!! We would like everyone to know that Riposo Café will only be operational until 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟮𝟲 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮.

It has been a fun roller coaster ride. We learned a lot of things and met a lot of people (some became our friends already!) But as it is said, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨. . A year ago, we opened our doors to serve you.. Now, we're closing it as we move on to finish what's left undone -- aral na tayo ulit. 😅 We believe the purposes by which God allowed us to operate had already been served. 🥰

To our families, churchmates, and friends who supported us and prayed for us and with us since day one, we can't thank you enough. We appreciate you. The Lord is your reward (and perhaps free drinks from us too! 😉)
