With the goal of promoting health awareness and food security among the youth, Narra Integrated School successfully held its Nutrition Month 2025 Culminating Activities for the Elementary, Junior High School, and Senior High School Departments, anchored on the theme:
โFood at Nutrition Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!โ
The Elementary Department joined in the advocacy through their own celebration conducted on July 30, 2025. The young learners actively took part in various fun and educational activities that highlighted the importance of healthy eating and good nutrition habits. Engaging contests and performances marked the day, creating a vibrant and informative experience for the pupils.
The Junior High School celebration followed on July 31, 2025, at the SEJA Gym, spearheaded by Head Teacher IV of the TLE Department and Over-all Chairman, Rocky S. Boni. The day opened with heartfelt messages from school officials, including Principal II Dr. Noli P. Acosta, and an inspirational message from Nutrition Officer III of MNAU, Ana Paz Salonica M. Cervancia. Before the contests started, students showcased their talents during the intermission number, which was followed by the Cooking Contest, Jingle Contest, Quiz Bee, Nutri Boodle Fight, and Agri Products Display.
Each event was handled simultaneously across different venues. The awarding of winners in the afternoon wrapped up the day with pride and recognition for all efforts poured into the activity.
On August 1, 2025, the Senior High School students took center stage for their own culminating activity. The program was opened by Assistant Principal II for Senior High School, Ken Mirasol, followed by special intermission numbers from Grade 12 STEM students and another message from Ana Paz Salonica M. Cervancia, Nutrition Officer III of MNAU Narra.
The SHS community participated in the Nutri Cooking Contest, Nutri Quiz Bee, Poster Making Contest, and Nutri Jingle Contest.
The whole event was full of energy. Each contest and performance showed how committed the students were when it came to spreading awareness about proper nutrition, food security, and staying healthy. In the afternoon, the awarding ceremony wrapped everything up, giving recognition to the winners and appreciation to everyone who participated in the event.
