Narra Integrated School officially concluded its Intramural Meet 2026 on August 22, 2026 at the Narra Sports Complex Grandstand. With the theme "NIS: Noble in Spirit, Integrity in Action, Strength in Unity!", the event highlighted sportsmanship and unity among elementary and secondary students.
The closing program began with the lowering of unit flags by the Citizenship Training Program (CTP).
Elizabeth C. Pagobo, Head Teacher IV and English Department Key Stage 1 In-Charge, thanked all participants in her message.
"To all the athletes, congratulations. You did your best. Treasure it, and may that be your guide." She also urged parents to continue supporting their children's talent and passion for sports.
Luzviminda D. Diamamos, Head Teacher IV and Senior High School In-Charge, highlighted values beyond competition in her message.
"We did not only witness the skills of our athletes, but we also saw sportsmanship, dedication, and camaraderie. I am glad with the discipline that you showed. True victory is not measured by the medals we won but by the lessons and friendships we built in Intramural Meet 2026."
Ariel Gonzaga, NIS PTA President, encouraged athletes to continue training. He stressed that passion and discipline are key to excellence in sports.
The final overall standings were:
Champion: Grade 12 Maroon Wizards - 28 Gold, 13 Silver, 17 Bronze
1st Runner-up: Grade 9 Blue Falcons - 25 Gold, 20 Silver, 17 Bronze
2nd Runner-up: Grade 11 Pink Pirates - 24 Gold, 19 Silver, 15 Bronze
3rd Runner-up: Grade 10 Red Raptors - 17 Gold, 13 Silver, 14 Bronze
4th Runner-up: Grade 7 Green Jaguars - 12 Gold, 21 Silver, 29 Bronze
5th Runner-up: Grade 8 Yellow Tigers - 10 Gold, 20 Silver, 6 Bronze
The event was made possible through the support of the Local Government of Narra, Sangguniang Bayan Member, Narra Sports Coordinator, CTP, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of the Philippines, and the NIS facilitating teams.
Lyn T. Aperocho, Head Teacher V and Junior High School In-Charge, delivered the closing remarks.
The program ended with students forming a circle and singing "Greatest Love of All," a final display of the unity and sportsmanship that defined Intramural Meet 2026.
