An oil spill occurred off Singapore's Changi area on October 28, 2024, during a bunkering operation between the Bahamas-flagged bulk carrier Ines Corrado and a licensed bunker tanker. Approximately 5 tonnes of oil overflowed from the bulk carrier, prompting the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) to halt operations and immediately respond. The MPA deployed vessels to spray dispersants and positioned a "current buster" device to recover any oil found on the water.

As of October 29, no oil has been sighted onshore or in the immediate area, but Singapore authorities continue monitoring the situation, and Malaysian authorities have been alerted to watch for potential oil sightings. Investigations into the cause of the overflow are ongoing.
