With persistent rains and multiple storm systems, Metro Manila is facing serious challenges on the road. Severe flooding has affected several areas in the country, causing heavy traffic. Getting a ride has also been a pain, whether through public transport or ride-hailing apps. Jeepneys and buses are often fully loaded, and many commuters are stranded
Staying indoors is the safest option today. If you can postpone outdoor errands, please do. But if staying inside isnโt possibleโwhether itโs work, school, or other dutiesโexercise extra caution as you head out:
1. Bring a waterproof jacket and an umbrella.
2. Slippery sidewalks and flooded roads are hazards. Wear sturdy shoes and stay alert.
3. Expect delays in transport due to rain and possible flooding. Leave early and stay flexible.
4. Power outages are common during storms. Keep your phone and power banks ready.
5. Stay Informed: Check PAGASAโs official weather page for real-time updates and advisories.
