Lex Bear Makes a Heartfelt Debut at Luxent Hotel:
A Symbol of Warmth, Comfort and Connection

Luxent Hotel proudly unveiled Lex Bear, its new official mascot and brand ambassador, during the Lex Bear Launch: held on October 2, 2025, at the Lush Bar & Lounge.

The launch event gathered media friends, cpntent creators, corporate partners, families and content creators for an afternoon filled with fun and heartwarming surprises.

The program opened with a warm welcome from Melanie Siy-Pagkalinawan, General Manager of Luxent Hotel. The audience then enjoyed a storytelling moment led by Sharon Deanne Guerrero, Director of Sales & Marketing, who shared how Lex Bear came to life as a symbol of warmth and joyful connection.

Guests cheered as Lex Bear made his grand entrance during a flash mob performance from Luxent Hotel team, officially marking his debut. The reveal was followed by interactive photo sessions with media partners, content creators and families, and a fun-filled “Pop & Paws Challenge” game that brought laughter to both kids and adults alike.

To conclude the afternoon, Marketing & Communications Manager Kaint Jhon Interior delivered the closing message, expressing gratitude to all attendees, partners, and sponsors who made the launch possible.

The celebration continued over a delightful dinner at the Garden Café, where guests enjoyed the signature buffet and had more photo opportunities with Lex Bear, who roamed around to greet and pose with everyone.

Novotel Manila Araneta City turns 10, holds wellness festival

Novotel Manila Araneta City recently held its very first Weekend Wellness Festival, “Find Your Balance,” last October 4, 2025. In celebration of the hotel’s 10th anniversary, the festival was held on the sixth and seventh floors, for a one-day immersive wellness experience. The program kicked off with registration at 8 am, and included such sessions as HIIT and Bootcamp workouts by Technogym Philippines, refreshing ice baths and mat Pilates classes by OCA Collective, and relaxing steam baths and rejuvenating massages by In Balance Spa (Asmara Spa) using Yoga Love Ph products. Eurotel and Pag-IBIG Fund offer discounts to members

Hospitality brand Eurotel, under the Global Comfort Group, officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Pag-IBIG Fund on September 2, 2025, at Eurotel Cubao–Vivaldi. The partnership strengthens both organizations’ commitment to provide affordable and valuable services to Filipino families nationwide.

Bigger, bolder HABI Market Fair celebrates 15 years at SPACE One Ayala

On its 15th year of celebrating the fabric of our culture, the Likhang Habi Market Fair is set to return on October 10–12, 2025, this time at the SPACE Events Hall of One Ayala (former site of the Hotel Intercontinental Manila) in Makati City. Moving to a bigger venue, the Fair will host close to a hundred artisans and weavers from all over the country.

The flagship program of HABI: The Philippine Textile Council, this year’s theme, “Sining ng Tela–The Art and Legacy of Philippine Textiles,” puts the spotlight on the creative forces behind the weaves that define our identity as Filipinos. There will also be events such as the HABI Lectures on design, entrepreneurship, and building a Filipino brand, presentations to highlight the cultures that produce the weaves, screenings of the various documentaries that the council has created, and exhibitions of the entries to the 8th Lourdes Montinola Piña Weaving Competition and the 4th Eloisa Hizon Gomez Abaca Weaving Competition, among others.

The three-day fair brings together the different stakeholders under one roof—weavers, designers, entrepreneurs, suppliers, distributors and buyers. Guests can expect a full spectrum of products using a wide range of indigenous weaves including handwoven textiles,
