𝐌𝐓𝐈 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐫, 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲

Montfort Technical Institute (MTI), Inc. conducted its Fire Drill today, August 12, 2026, alongside the Formulation of the School Emergency Response Plan (SERP), Creation of the School Emergency Response Team (SERT), and distribution of fire safety leaflets.

The activity was facilitated by the New Washington Fire Station, headed by SFO4 Anthony G. Dela Cruz, under the supervision of FSUPT Patricio G. Collado, with the leadership of FCSUPT Wilberto Rico Niel A. Kwan Tiu and FCSUPT Edwin P. Vargas, DSC of BFP Region 6.

Through the BFP’s Handang Pamayanan and Bayanihan Programs under the OLP Masterplan, the MTI community strengthened its preparedness, response, and awareness—because every second counts when lives are at stake. 🚒🧯

A time to find our focus,
Between the work and the activities,

Yet we must hold fast to every lesson.

Let August slip beyond our hands.
Instead, let us treasure every day,
Savoring the memories August brings,
As we pray it brings us brighter days.
Once again, it is August,
This time, let us not stray.
May we cherish this season,
While finding happiness and purpose each day.

August marks another chapter in our school journey—a fresh opportunity to learn, grow, and become better than we were yesterday. As our calendars fill with classes, activities, and responsibilities, it is easy to become overwhelmed and lose sight of what truly matters. Yet this month gently reminds us to remain focused, embrace every lesson, and appreciate the people and experiences that shape us.

Like the song that speaks of moments slipping away, may we not allow August to simply pass us by. Instead, let us make memories worth keeping, find joy even in ordinary days, and move forward with purpose. May this month not only challenge us to do our best but also inspire us to become kinder, wiser, and more grateful as we journey toward brighter days.

The Last Day of July

Hey… breathe, you’re halfway there.

July, the 7th month of the year. It never ends with a bang. It tends to just thins out.

As the calendar turns its final page for the month, the change of the mood becomes noticeable. The sun sets just a little earlier, casting a soft light across our daily routines. The midyear heat begins to yield to a gentler breeze. Even the rhythm of daily life seems to slow down, holding its breath just before everyone begins echoing that familiar phrase: "Ber months na next."

July is the in-between month. Not the wild start of summer, not yet the rush of August. It’s the month where you pause.

It asks quiet questions: Did you rest? Did you start what you meant to? Did you call the people you missed? It doesn’t need answers. It just wants you to notice.

There is a subtle bittersweet nostalgia attached to these final hours. It carries the weight of small, cherished moments before rigid schedules demand our full attention once more. Yet, beneath this quiet melancholy lies an unmistakable sense of renewal. August approaches with the promise of clean pages, fresh perspectives, and new opportunities to build upon what we have learned.

So tonight, let us sit in the warmth of July just a little longer. Watch the purple gradient of the evening sky and listen to the gentle sound of the night.

Because soon, we’ll turn the page. And August will begin.

The Montfort Technical Institute (MTI), Inc. community formally welcomed Rev. Bro. Pratap Reddy B., Vicar General, and Rev. Bro. Dhanaraj, Assistant General, during a Welcome Program held today, July 31.

The program featured meaningful performances, messages of welcome, and expressions of gratitude that reflected the school's commitment to the Montfortian mission. The visit provided an opportunity for the school community to reaffirm its dedication to faith, excellence, and service while strengthening its unity with the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel.

The MTI community extends its sincere gratitude to Rev. Bro. Pratap Reddy B. and Rev. Bro. Dhanaraj for their inspiring presence and continued guidance in advancing the Montfortian mission.

IN PHOTOS | MHO Advances Adolescent Health Through School-Based Healthy Young Ones Activity

The Municipal Health Office of New Washington, through its Adolescent Health and Development Program (AHDP), conducted a School-Based Healthy Young Ones Activity at Montfort Technical Institute (MTI), Inc. today, July 20.

The activity aimed to encourage positive health behaviors, build resilience, and strengthen the capacity of adolescents to make choices that contribute to their overall health and well-being.

The activity was facilitated by trained Peer Educators from MTI—Ma. Daniela Bernabe, Sherrane Gail Singular, Jheff Romaquin, John Ryan Torres, John Matthew Jizmundo, and Mark Andrei Yeban—with fellow Peer Educators Marizh Margarito, Jennelyn Bechayda, Larryne Pastrana, and Gerome Pioquid.

Also contributing their expertise and guidance were Herlyn Rentillo Cuesta, RN, and Gladys Rapiz Banglos, RN, from the Municipal Health Office.

Through collaborative efforts between the school and the MHO, young people are given a safe and empowering space to access reliable health information, develop healthy behaviors, and become more confident in making responsible decisions for themselves and their future.

The campus came alive with energy and enthusiasm as candidates from 𝘼𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙮𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩 and 𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙮𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩, together with one 𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩, took center stage during the 𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆. Through inspiring speeches, well-crafted platforms, and confident presentations, each candidate shared their vision for a stronger, more student-centered school community.

As the campaign period reached its peak, Montfortians were encouraged to listen, reflect, and choose leaders who embody integrity, responsibility, and genuine service. Beyond the cheers and campaign colors, the grand rally stood as a celebration of democracy, leadership, and the power of every student's vote. 💙💙💙
