WARNING: LUZON, PREPARE FOR “THE BIG ONE”
This is not to cause fear — this is a warning to be prepared 🙏

After a series of strong earthquakes in the Visayas and Mindanao, experts are warning: Luzon could be next.

According to PHIVOLCS, the West Valley Fault is ready to move at any time. The last time it shifted was in 1658. If it moves again, it could cause an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.2 to 7.8.

Areas the fault line passes through:
Quezon City, Marikina, Pasig, Taguig, Muntinlupa, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, and Bulacan.

Possible effects:

Over 50,000 may die

More than 100,000 may be injured

Thousands of buildings may collapse or catch fire
