THE BLIND MAN'S LOVE.
A man married a beautiful girl. He loved her very much. One day she developed a skin disease. Slowly she started to lose her beauty. It so happened that one day her husband left for a tour. While returning he met with an accident and lost his eyesight. However, their married life continued as usual. But as days passed she lost her beauty gradually. Blind husband did not know this and there was not any difference in their married life. He continued to love her and she also loved him very much. One day she died. Her death brought him a great sorrow. He finished all her last rites and wanted to leave that town.

A man from behind called and said, “Now how will you be able to walk all alone? All these days your wife used to help you”. He replied, “I am not blind. I was acting because if she knew l could see her skin condition due to a disease, it would have pained her more than her disease. I didn’t love her for her beauty alone, but I fell in love with her caring and loving nature. So I pretended to be blind. I only wanted to keep her happy”.

Moral: When you truly love someone, you will go to any extent to keep your loved one happy and sometimes it is good for us to act blind and ignore one another’s short comings in order to be happy. The Beauty will fade with time, but heart and soul will always be the same. Love the person for what he/she is from inside, not from outside.

RESPECT THE INVISIBLE

A car ahead was moving like a turtle and not giving me way inspite of my continuous honking!

I was on brink of losing my cool when I noticed the small sticker on the cars rear.

It reads...
"Physically challenged; Please be patient.”

And that changed everything!! I immediately went calm and slowed down!!

In fact I got a little protective of the car and the driver.

I reached work a few minutes late, but it was ok!

And then it struck me. Would I have been patient if there was no sticker!?

Why do we need stickers to be patient with people ?

Will we be more patient and kind with others if people had labels pasted on their foreheads?

Labels like:
~ Lost my job
~ Fighting cancer
~ Going through a bad divorce
~ Suffering Emotional abuse
~ Lost a loved one
~ Feeling worthless
~ Financially messed up....and more like these.

Everyone is fighting a battle we know nothing about.

The least we can do is be patient and kind.

We don't have to put people through the pressures of explaining over times before we understand their pains and offer our little best.

As you go through each passing day always remember there's an invisible label on everyone.

A simple virtue of patience may just be the respect you're according that invisible label.

THE TEACHING OF THE DONKEY

One day a farmer’s donkey fell into a well. The animal cried loudly for hours, while the farmer tried to find something to do to get him out.
Finally, the farmer decided that the donkey was old and the well was already dry and needed to be covered anyway; that it really wasn't worth pulling the donkey out of the well..
He invited all his neighbors to come help him. They each grabbed a shovel and began to throw dirt into the well.
The donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly loud. Then, to everyone's surprise, he quieted down after a few shovelfuls of dirt.
The farmer finally looked down into the well and was amazed at what he saw... with each shovelful of dirt, the donkey was doing something incredible: It was shaking off the dirt and stepping on top of the dirt.
Very soon everyone saw surprised how the donkey reached the mouth of the well, went over the edge and trotted out...
Life is going to throw dirt at you, all kinds of dirt... the trick to getting out of the hole is to shake it off and use it to step up. Each of our problems is a step up. We can get out of the deepest holes if we don't give up...
Use the land they throw you to get ahead!!!
Remember the 5 rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hate.
2. Free your Mind of distractions.
3. Simplify your life.
4. Give more and expect less.
5. Love more and... shake the dirt, because in this life you have to be a solution, not the problem!

The Bird-catcher And The Pigeons

Unity is strength pigeon story

Once a flock of pigeons was caught in a bird catcher’s net. They tried to free themselves but couldn’t. So, they all panicked. There was an old pigeon. He calmed them down and said,” We should not panic if we want to escape from here.

The birds calmed down and listened to him. The old pigeon asked them to follow his instructions and said,” We will fly together at the count of three and take this net with us. Just remember to fly together.”

The bird-catcher was coming to take the birds away when the unexpected happened. The birds flapped their wings together and flew away with the net! The bird-catcher could not do anything. He was shocked to see such wisdom and unity in birds.

Moral: You can achieve anything with unity. We should be calm in difficult situations to overcome them.

EVERYTHING GOD DOES IS PERFECT.

😰A King had a male servant who in all circumstances always told him; My King, do not be discouraged because *God never makes mistakes*. One day they went hunting and a wild animal attacked the king, the servant managed to kill the animal but couldn't save his majesty from losing a finger. Furious and without showing gratitude, the King said; If God was good, I wouldn't have been attacked and lost a finger. The servant answered: 'despite all these things, I can only tell you that God is good and everything he does is perfect, he is never wrong'. Outraged by the response, the king ordered the arrest of his servant. While he was taken to prison, he again said to the king: God is good and perfect. Another day, the king went alone for another hunt and was captured by savages who use human beings for sacrifice. On the altar, the savages discovered that the king did not have a finger in place, he was freed because he was not considered "complete" to be offered to the gods. On his return to the palace, he ordered the release of his servant and said; My friend, God was really good to me. I was almost killed but for lack of a single finger, I was let go. But I have a question; If God is so good, why did he allow me to put you in prison? His servant answered; My king, if I hadn't been put in prison, I would have gone with you, and I would have been sacrificed, because I don't have a missing finger. Everything God does is perfect, he is never wrong. Often we complain about life, and the negative things that happen to us, forgetting that everything happens for a purpose.

An old man meets a young man who asks:
“Do you remember me?”
And the old man says no. Then the young man tells him he was his student, And the teacher asks:
“What do you do, what do you do in life?”
The young man answers:
“Well, I became a teacher.”
“ah, how good, like me?” Asks the old man.
“Well, yes. In fact, I became a teacher because you inspired me to be like you.”
The old man, curious, asks the young man at what time he decided to become a teacher. And the young man tells him the following story:
“One day, a friend of mine, also a student, came in with a nice new watch, and I decided I wanted it.
I stole it, I took it out of his pocket.
Shortly after, my friend noticed the his watch was missing and immediately complained to our teacher, who was you.
Then you addressed the class saying, ‘This student's watch was stolen during classes today. Whoever stole it, please return it.’
I didn't give it back because I didn't want to.
You closed the door and told us all to stand up and form a circle.
You were going to search our pockets one by one until the watch was found.
However, you told us to close our eyes, because you would only look for his watch if we all had our eyes closed.
We did as instructed.
You went from pocket to pocket, and when you went through my pocket, you found the watch and took it. You kept searching everyone's pockets, and when you were done you said ‘open your eyes. We have the watch.’
You didn't tell on me and you never mentioned the episode. You never said who stole the watch either. That day you saved my dignity forever. It was the most shameful day of my life.
But this is also the day I decided not to become a thief, a bad person, etc. You never said anything, nor did you even scold me or take me aside to give me a moral lesson.
I received your message clearly.
Thanks to you, I understood what a real educator needs to do.
Do you remember this episode, professor?
The old professor answered, ‘Yes, I remember the situation with the stolen watch, which I was looking for in everyone’s pocket. I didn't remember you, because I also closed my eyes while looking.’
This is the essence of teaching:
If to correct you must humiliate; you don't know how to teach.”

THE PORK BUTCHER AND THE PAINTER

A Short Moral Story.

A pork butcher and a painter lived next door to each other. They had lived in peace for many years, but at some point, they started having problems with each other. It started when the pork butcher made a complaint to the painter about his noisy dog that wouldn't stop barking.

However, when the complaint became constant, the painter made it known to the pork butcher that he also had been enduring nuisance from him but never complained. Branches from his trees were growing over to his own territory, attracting unwanted insects and shedding their leaves all over his garden.
"You don't expect me to cut down my tree, do you? Just do away with your dog and stop being unreasonable!". the pork butcher brawled.

One day, the pork butcher marched into the painter's compound and started throwing insults and raining abuses on the him. He said a lot of hurtful things, called him a coward and blamed him for the death of his wife. He wouldn't stop cussing him.

However, the painter remained totally calm and undisturbed, no matter what the pork butcher said to him. He couldn't bring himself to do anything other than ignore him. The pork butcher kept on insulting him and his family.

Shortly after the pork butcher had left, another neighbour who had witnessed the whole thing, approached the painter and asked him.
"Why didn't you return the insults? Come on, there are things you could have used on him to shut him down. We all know he once beat his pregnant wife until she had a miscarriage. Also, he spent many years studying law in Japan, but ended up becoming a local pork butcher. You could have insulted him with these things and more".

The painter asked him.
"When you wrestle with a pig in the mud, what happens?".

The neighbour replied.
"Of course, you both get dirty".

Then the painter smiled and said.
"Good. And when you both get dirty, the pig likes it, doesn't it? Listen, if someone insults you, and you insult him back, then you also fall into his category as both of you are exactly the same. If someone goes around throwing garbage all over the place, and you join him in throwing garbage, it means there are two mad people. We should never give people the chance to bring us down to their level? We should never play and wrestle in the mud with people who really like the mud? When someone insults you, you should understand that they do so because of their own insecurities and inadequacies in life. We should silently distance ourselves from such people and understand that it doesn't worth our time and energy. Acknowledgement of a bully only gives them power, and you don't want to give them that power".
