Holy Rosary Academy celebrated the life and mission of St. Dominic with faith, joy, and unity. ๐Ÿ’™

The celebration began with a parade of Dominican Patron Saints from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Elementary pupils offered flowers, while Junior and Senior High School students carried candles with glass as symbols of devotion. ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ๐ŸŒท

A solemn Holy Mass was held to honor St. Dominic and give thanks for his inspiring life.

After a short break, each grade level introduced their chosen patron saints. Joyful songs filled the campus:
- โ€œDominican Are Weโ€ โ€“ Kinder to Grade 6
- โ€œDominiqueโ€ โ€“ Grades 7 to 12

The celebration ended with a meaningful โ€œpigingโ€ or lunch gathering inside classrooms, promoting unity and sharing among learners.

A blessed Feast Day to all! May the Dominican spirit continue to inspire every Rosarian heart.

LOOK: Nutrition Month in Holy Rosary Academy-Guimaras Inc. was a huge success with the theme, Food Nutrition Security, maging priority! Sapat na pagkain, karapatan natin!"

Students from all grade level were involved in various interesting activities that encouraged the students towards healthy eating habits and improved knowledge of the issue of food security. The Cooking Contest was the competition that was quite fierce as the fledgling young chefs demonstrated their talents by preparing tasty and healthy food. The Nutri-Quiz displayed the intellectual power of the students with quiz questions/answers ranging in the knowledge of essential vitamins to food groups.

In the Poster Making Contest and Slogan Making Contest, creative talents got explored and students illustrated with the help of art and catchy phrases and words, the significance of nutrition and access to food. Also, the students at JHS and SHS helped to make the school more beautiful by landscaping.

All students had a great time with different games, while our youngest learners, from Kinder to Grade 3, had a blast with the Color Splash activity, using colorful fruits and vegetables to create vibrant artwork, making learning about healthy foods both fun and interactive.

The entire school community joined together in making the Nutrition Month an ever lasting and effective experience that underscores the point of importance of having a healthy diet and food security for everyone.

HRAG Learners kicked off the school year with the Mass of the Holy Spirit, Binyagan, and fun-filled Acquaintance Activities.

Grouped into four mighty teams โ€” Avengers, X-Men, Wakanda, and Guardians of the Galaxy โ€” students showed their energy and teamwork through Zumba, Cheers & Yells, Dodgeball, Paint Me a Picture, and the thrilling Amazing Race ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

Please be informed that Thursday, June 12, 2025, has been declared a national holiday in observance of Independence Day. As such, there will be no classes for all grade levels on this day.

Let us take this opportunity to remember and honor the significance of our countryโ€™s independence. Regular classes and operations will resume on Friday, June 13, 2025.
