Akeanon News Expands to Broadcast Media with Launch of "Akeanon News On Air" on ANC
KALIBO, Aklan – Akeanon News Publishing Services is set to make another historic milestone as it officially launches "Akeanon News On Air" on July 28, 2026, through the newly established Aklan News Channel (ANC).
The new program will air every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, featuring comprehensive local news, public affairs, government updates, business, tourism, culture, community stories, and special interviews that matter to Aklanons.
The launch is spearheaded by Noel R. Cabobos, Station Manager of Aklan News Channel, whose vision is to establish ANC as a trusted multi-platform news network dedicated to serving the people of Aklan through credible, relevant, and community-driven journalism.
Anchored by veteran broadcasters Recto Vidal and Roben Laserna, Akeanon News On Air aims to strengthen public awareness by delivering timely and accurate information while highlighting stories from the province's 17 municipalities.
