JUST IN: Miss Universe Philippines Ma. Ahtisa Manalo secured the 3rd runner-up position at the Miss Universe 2025, marking the first time in seven years that the Philippines has reached the podium since Catriona Gray's victory in Miss Universe 2018.

The top five finalists included representatives from Côte d’Ivoire, Venezuela, and Thailand.

Fatima Bosch of Mexico was crowned Miss Universe 2025, prevailing over 120 delegates worldwide.

Davao Association of Catholic Schools (DACS) College Sportsfest 2025 kicked off its opening ceremony on November 17 at San Pedro College - Ulas Campus in a slate of cultural competitions.

Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU) and other participating institutions showcased their talents across various categories, including Vocal Solo, Vocal Duet, Folkdance, Dancesports, Short Film Making, Danza En Cuatro, and the Mindanaoan Festival Dance.

The week-long sportsfest runs from November 17 to November 21, 2025.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Ateneo de Davao University will implement the Hybrid Block system for General Education (GE) courses in the upcoming enrollment period for the second semester of the Academic Year 2025-2026.

To ensure balanced enrollment across sections offering the same course and schedule, students may be reassigned to different sections. However, their original schedules will be maintained.

The official enrollment period is scheduled from December 1 to December 6, 2025, with classes starting on December 9, 2025.

Kasabay ng taunang pagdiriwang ng Pandaigdigang Araw ng mga Estudyante, nagsanib-pwersa ang hanay ng sangkaestudyantehan mula sa iba't ibang unibersidad at kolehiyo sa Southern Mindanao Region noong Nobyembre 17 sa Freedom Park upang tuligsain ang tumitinding represyon sa mga pamantasan at korapsyon sa pamahalaan.

Iginiit nila na hindi nalalayo ang kanilang danas sa pamantasan sa danas ng mga batayang sektor sa kasalukuyang lipunan, at pinalawig ang mga isyung bumubulabog ngayon kagaya ng walang humpay na pagsupil at pagdulog sa mga panawagan laban sa mga banta sa akademikong kalayaan at komersyalisasyon, tahasang paniniktik sa mga lider-estudyante at kampus mamamahayag, at malawakang korapsyon at pasismo sa ilalim ng administrasyong Marcos Jr.
