"Lest we forget the man behind the picture"
On our graduation day, we proudly wore our silk-woven togas of success as we march through the isle of pride. We sang a song of vict'ry and captured every mem'ry in our palm-held intelligent devices.
We left for home signalling the start of our long-awaited vacation, posting those photos as a show to the world that we had finished the challenges of high school life.
That once in a lifetime experience and not to mention all our experiences throughout Grade 12 life are likened to a photo that is still vivid in our deep intuitions formed for 10 months. We were all part of a photo then, a photo that is an actual mem'ry.
Yes! We could all have had our share on who took those photos, if not only for our hard work; yet we have to remember that in a photo of 499 aspiring servant-leaders, there ought to be a few dedicated enough to assure that the photo is taken at its best appearance.
These few, much to our applaud and the honor they deserve, had risked something they could have avoid to a much lighter twelfth grade life.
It was a gamble then, with time, strength, and energy paid in exchange for service for a historic batch in this country's educational field, lest all these 499 graduates end up chaotic and of no direction.
Yet despite price they paid, they remained silent, like an actual photographer who does not appear in the photo he took.
Not even a medal they received; owing nothing but for the name of service
Now didn't these people took our 10-month photo?
