Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) upholds the fundamental right to freedom of the press as enshrined in the Constitution. We recognize that promoting transparency, accountability, and democratic engagement within the academic community and society relies on a free, independent, and responsible press.
As an academic institution committed to excellence and innovation, CSPC values and respects the rights of our students to express their opinions and practice ethical journalism.
We firmly stand against any form of suppression, harassment, or retaliation directed at student journalists who responsibly exercise their rights.
CSPC believes that a free press is vital to building a progressive and informed academic environment, as it fosters truth, reinforces democratic values, and empowers society.
The CSPC Administration is actively coordinating with relevant authorities and stakeholders to address concerns arising from the issue to protect the rights and security of our students.
We reaffirm our commitment to safeguarding academic freedom and a culture of responsible and independent journalism within CSPC.
