You do not need to be perfect, or to have everything put together before you draw near to the Lord. Come just as you are. Bring to Him your weariness, the pain you bear, the tears you hide, the fears that weigh on you, and every burden you have carried alone for so long. He does not wait for you to be whole before He embraces you โ draw near to Him, and let Him heal your wounded heart and strengthen your weary spirit.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He upholds those who trust in Him completely. So whatever you may be going through, do not fear and do not hesitate to come to Him. When it feels as though everything around you is falling apart, remember this: there is a Solid Rock you can lean upon at all times โ the Lord Himself.
It is not too late for you, brother and sister. There is hope. There is light. There is a fresh new beginning. As we build our lives upon the firm foundation of His Word, we shall remain standing, steadfast and unshaken, even when the fiercest storms arise.
Come as you are. Stay in His presence. Build your life on the Rock.
